Liverpool

The Liverpool fans in this thread. :lol:

Masochists.

I honestly think Rodgers has to take some blame with his unrealistic and potentially deluded expectation that they attempt to close the goal difference gap. 3-1 up and they're pushing 7 up for a corner. Really think they took the wrong approach.

At least he didn't spaz out and blame Palace for trying to hard like SAF once did when West Ham did the same thing.

Liverpool aren't winning the league next season. Even a title challenge from them next season will be hugely impressive imo.

What these last few weeks have shown me is that Henderson is incredibly important to Liverpool. Turns out he wasn't such a bad buy after all.

This is how it feels to be Evra, this is how it feels to be red;
Polishing your Premier League medals when Suarez;
IS CRYING IN BED, CRYING IN BED, CRYING IN BED! :lol:

The defence will need rectifying. Skrtel can't be trusted to 'lead the line'. BR is now angry enough to realise this. Options to replace Lucas, Moses, Alberto and Aspas soon will be put in place too.

Suarez crying his eyes out, instead of moping around biting people, means he's likely to stay so no need to look for his replacement. Sturridge is still shit hot. Jordan Ibe is to return and he has a higher ceiling than Sterling. Ours signings won't cost a lot or scream out but they will be (have to be) key ones.

You all said the same at the start of this season. :o

And we'll all have been right.

Just like we were right that you weren't going to beat Palace by 6 goals and that attempting to do so was moronic.

You've largely defied expectations and it's a season to be proud of but there have been elements of continued good fortune which are unlikely to continue over several seasons. The amount of soft penalties, keeping key players fit, playing 15 less games, winning 10 on the bounce.

I believe you make your own luck but I cannot see City and Chelsea being as forgiving as they have been this season and I really cannot see Liverpool keeping up the same form as a 3rd seed pot team in the CL groups. That's 4 hard group games, potentially finishing second, a difficult knockout stage game etc...

Spot on. A pair of full backs has to be the priority.

Damn right it's worth the wait.

The Moyes curse is lifted, the sun is starting to shine again, and Liverpool are showing us how to snatch defeat from the jaws of certain victory. :D

Thank you, I now revoke your right along with Browniee to take that jinx back. :D

Liverpool won't be near the title next season.

City and Chelsea are already as good or better than they are this season and are only 2-3 pieces away from being true, elite sides. Liverpool need 5+ new signings, they need all of those signings to acclimate quickly, they need this seasons overachievers to again play out of their minds, and they'll need to actually play more than once a week.

They'll finish 4th or 5th next year.

And they need Suarez to stay put. As well as the guys who had peak seasons to reproduce that. Big ask

After all of the talk about it being their year and myself actually starting to believe it too, how fecking sweet it feels that it was all one big nightmare after all and the cnuts will win nothing. :D

A nice facht to point out to all Pool supporting mates you have. David Moyes has won more silverware this season then Brenton Rodgers.

Fair enough. I still think it was unrealistic to direct your players to push for a 6+ goal win margin in two games and it's backfired. Think you'd have been better winning at all costs and hoping City slip up with the pressure.

SAF learnt from it though, just like he learnt from all those away defeats to crappy euro teams in the CL. Let's see if BR does the same.

And we hoped that would be enough to keep him at Utd for longer. :( :candle_to_Moyes:
