RAWK Goes Into Meltdown | 2013/14

Locked the thread already because they started talking about Barca. Why are they not allowed to discuss the prospect of him transferring anyway? It's probably gonna happen so they should be able to talk about it.

I know that a lot of thread locking goes on, but I don't pay much attention to it, so have no idea why. I'd be interested to see an explanation for not allowing members to discuss the transfer of Suarez. Anyone have an idea why they do that?
 
It's so absurd to run a forum like that. I don't see what it achieves aside from annoy it's members.

RAWK is infamous, as football fan forums go, for being like Nazi Germany. The mods/admins over there take the whole thing far, far, faaaaaar too seriously. You'd think they get paid a full time salary for keeping the place in order.

Just had a look at RAWK and it's really fecking weird how they're not allowed to talk about a possible Suarez transfer. WTF?!

Have to admire places like the Caf - we're allowed to discuss more or less what we want here.

Valid point. Because Chiellini rolling around after being bitten is so much worse than Suarez biting and faking an injury to his teeth.

RAWK's mods have a ridiculously inflated sense of self-worth. It's a forum on the internet ffs, not the UN General Assembly. Let people discuss whatever the feck they want to.
 
I dare say a few days at home with family has allowed him to reflect. I'm not criticising Uruguay for supporting him but they didn't help with what I assume was a siege-like "deny all, the world is against you" stance. A word or two with the people who love him in an environment that isn't a pressure cooker will have done him the world of good.

It's beyond ridiculous. Arguably the biggest story in world football, involving Liverpool's star player, and both topics about it on the biggest Liverpool forum are locked.

While I always love a bit of admiration for our fine forum, I don't think we deserve any admiration for allowing free and frank discussion on a discussion forum. Just because RAWK is bonkers and we're normal shouldn't change that.

I actually cannot believe that the club sanctioned that as an official statement. God, what a shower of idiots.
 
They really do themselves no favours in the way they deal with these controversial issues. From such a big business, they really lack professionalism, from their main man Suarez, to the PR team and the twitter guy. They really need to improve their image as it's something that they all harp on about being proud of but lately they have tarnished their clubs name but don't seem to realise.

Something that I haven´t seen said is - Barcelona are a side on the decline. In contrast we are a side on the up. To jump ship from us to go there at the moment could be your very own Michael Owen moment Mr Suárez. In fairness to Mr Owen, there was absolutely no indicators that Liverpool would win the Champions League while he kept Jonathan Woodgate company in Madrid. This time though.... there are some warning signs Mr Suárez.

Sure Luis Enrique, Barca legend, might turn that right around. Although Valdes, Puyol and Fabregas have already gone. Xavi, Sanchez, Mascherano & Dani Alvez rumoured to be joining them. Sounds like a team in transition that Mr Suárez. Do you see them surpasing a pretty settled Real Madrid? Do you see them winning the Champions League next year? You are 27 now... at what age do you want to start winning major club honours outside of Holland? Liverpool are showing signs that with you in their team, that could be as early as May 2015. Barca - - - not so much.

What would be really hilarious is Barca hold out for less than what Liverpool demand and Suarez will act like a cry baby like he did last summer. RAWK will explode.
