For a while Neville was talking as if there's nothing else to football than wingers with pace. But well, considering Germany started the game without a traditional winger, there was less chance of Neville talking them up this time.

Actually Rooney would be a good signing for Real in terms of marketability and play as striker too considering how he linked with Ronaldo before. They are after Falcao though it seems.

13 years was still not a bad relationship for Nike to be honest. Many legendary players was wearing that Nike logo - Van Nistelrooy, Beckham, Veron, Blanc, Ronaldo etc... not to mention the amount of trophies promoted the company itself all over Europe and the globe.

I imagine many of those things were part of the Original agreement anyway. So them sponsoring things for us when we have our main deal with Adidas would make less sense.

But honestly as soon as the Di Maria for sale rumours started it just had PSG written all over it.
They make it sound so dramatic, when it's basically "Nike won't be involved with United anymore, another company will take over".
