Come on King Arthur, become the king of Manchester United.

I cant argue with Van Gaal obviously he knows the blueprint and more importantly how far the pot will stretch. Mata would not come close for me to Kroos even in the most forward of those 3 as however little you think Kroos offers when not in possession its a bloody great percentage more than Mata. But I think the pot is limited. we need a box to box type you are right and we need a CB and cover for left and right back so I'm guessing its more that over Kroos would not fit in here. He;s the closest thing to a sat nav since scholes. he'd fit in at United as much as Van Gaal will.
This is one of those i won't get excited about until it's official.
Garish*
Oh. Ok.Garish*
until I see him signing a contract and holding a United shirt with his name on , I refuse to get excited by this.
OH shit I forgot about that, damn it, until I see his name on a team sheet.
Best bit of business we've ever done, Mikel.OH shit I forgot about that, damn it, until I see his name on a team sheet.

Same here, if I get my hopes high on this and it doesn't happen the crash will be truly epic.
Exactly. Muppets never learn. I was convinced that Alcantara would sign(the only saga I was concerned about) and it burnt me real bad. How do people continue to get excited and invariably disappointed every year? It's like clockwork.
It can only get better. And it will.Vidal week has had a disappointing start.
Wrecked.

Vidal has a Juventus tattoo on him. Would he want to join us? Who knows.
He's the best CM in the world IMO, alongside Yaya Toure. So it would be a cracking signing if we could get him. He's perfect for us.
Interesting thing in all this is that all the reliable Journo's from a Juventus point of view are saying Juve want to keep him, I guess Vidal will have to tell them he wants out.
Just 3 stars as well isn't it? We happen to have won 3 european cups!He has a tattoo of the titles he won for Juventus.

He's a juve fan. This Amoyal character seems to not warm to the idea of players leaving Juventus. Conte himself last year said the club might have to sell for commercial reasons. It's not a state secret that Juve and Serie A in general aren't in good financial circumstances currently. They wanted Sanchez but had to back out when other clubs started to move because they couldn't afford the deal.

Bit like supporting United in the 70s and 80s. Started off excited and by November reality hit home. That said, loved every minute of it.Exactly. Muppets never learn. I liked it.Excitement on the RedCafe Excitement Index (REI) inched up today, as baseless rumours circulated that the club had agreed terms with prospective recruit Vidal.
REI had struggled to gain momentum last week as claims and counterclaims were made by nobody credible, with attention firmly fixed on the World Cup.
With players - and managers - returning from Brazil, this week has long been earmarked as the start of Transfer Silly Season. Observers had hoped REI would start trading strongly, as football enthusiasts filled the vacuum in their lives with baseless speculation.
However, many have been disappointed with the persistent pessimism of Man United fans.
@amolbhatia100, from the internet, said: "This is one of those i won't get excited about until it's official." Others nodded sagely from behind their computers.
But there were pockets of muppetry amid the gloom, and with the postcount currently running at around 20 per hour in the absence of actual events, there is a tantalising prospect of triple digit hourly postcounts if market gurus James Ducker or Mark Ogden deign to comment on the matter.
REI is up 124% year to date, though most of this performance was registered in the two week period straddling the sacking of former manager David Moyes. Indeed, 30% of that return came in a single hour following his dismissal, with analysts describing that announcement as "a cyberspunkfest."

A trusted source who is usually ITK about players' tattoos told me that these tattoos are replaceable and Vidal is not on holiday but is off to tattoo guy to change it.
