LEAVE THE SFW THREAD ALONE!!1!
pay them 50M but get it done! wtf... 34M too much? really? nonsense...
We aren't in any position to negotiate lower fees. We have to pay over the odds without CL Football to get top players.'Won't meet Juve's £34m asking price'? That HAS to be bollocks, we should be chopping their hands off for that.
If we feck this up over a couple of million quid I will pimpslap the crap out of Woody.
I'm not believing it's off until the likes of Ogden and Ducker say so. The Daily Fail and The Mirror? Most likely a load of shit.
I thought he said something along the lines that something could happen but nothing has yet? In my opinion none of the journalists know anything at the moment, they're just covering their bases.Ducker says it was never on didn't he?
I refuse anyone would think £32m for Vidal is "over the odds".. especially on the day we sign the biggest sponsor deal ever.
Yeah, I remember a couple of weeks ago posters were saying that nothing less than £50m would get Vidal.'Won't meet Juve's £34m asking price'? That HAS to be bollocks, we should be chopping their hands off for that.

If it is off I guarantee it has something to do with his fitness/knee
AS broke the Herrera news. Daily Mail just jumped on the bandwagon.I have no interest in insulting people by telling them to sort themselves out over the internet so we'll just have to see.
For the record: I don't think we're as interested as you (and many others) seem to believe.
Mirror posted something along the same lines in last 10 minutes too: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...chester-united-play-transfer-hardball-3861434
Of course, neither are reputable but Daily Mail broke the Adidas news and the Herrera news. Take from it what you will.

Let's just say these reports are true, who are we going to get who is A) better B) cheaper?

If journos say it's off then it's generally off. I know he wrote the previous article but he'd look a much bigger tit if he signed now. Very disappointing.
To the Schweinsteiger thread?
feck knows. Sometimes you have to wonder what the feck goes through the boards head, when they see Anderson and Cleverley line up in midfield.Let's just say these reports are true, who are we going to get who is A) better B) cheaper?
Schweinsteiger
Well with Herrera and Shaw they basically came out of nowhere and all of the sudden BBC and SkySports were reporting it was a done deal. Like many other posters have said, I don't think we're leaking any info on our transfers to the regular journos like we did last summer. Everything seems to be on the down-low. And with all of the chatter in Chile at the moment there is definitely interest on our end.Tbh I would have thought we may have heard something a bit more concrete by now. Best source so far is a toss up between a Nigerian rapper and a poker playing radio host? Not one reliable or even semi reliable journo has anything to say about it. I was quietly confident this would go through but I'm not sure at all now.
Schweinsteiger
The Mirror have reported the same thing. As witnessed by the two signings we actually have made this summer? Both deals could not have been more 'off' at certain points according to journos probably a lot more trusted than Simon Jones.
The juve forum are trying to wind up United fans. The lads over on the Juventus forum all seem to reckon its a done deal. They're citing some Di Marzio tweet that was apparently deleted by him that says he wants a move or something. Have yous found out what they're on about and whether its true or a load of turnip?
I sure it can be fix, unless he's another HargreavesYes, there's that.
Yeah, watch us try and be clever trying to save a couple of million, until City decide to cash in on the moaning Yaya and....BOOM!it could be negotiation tactics to bring the price down since UTD is practically bidding against itself.
Why are people killing themselves over a Mail article?
Mail, Mirror and The Times (via Ducker's web chat)Why are people killing themselves over a Mail article?
What process? The process of agreeing another £750mil 10-year kit deal?Cynic in me says, season tickets sold up, kit deal signed, no need to spend big now...... wait a few months then generate more stories of top players coming in to repeat process.
Because we haven't got anything else...Why are people killing themselves over a Mail article?

Arguably not better and certainly won't be cheaper.
