I want to be optimistic about this I really do but it's getting harder and harder now. I hope it's a case of us giving the journos the runaround and that could well be the case with such ridiculous contradictions but surely the more reliable journos will be wary it's us leaking wrong info and not seem as certain as they do because they'll look like idiots if we suddenly now pull the deal off.
Andy Mittens video saying we are definitely in talks is reassuring but I just getting the feeling now something's changed unfortunately. Not sure if Conte resigning is a good thing or bad as they might hold off now until they get a new manager in. Just doesn't make sense that we're leaking info to get the price down when it's already reportedly a reasonable amount for him and Juve could get that from a number of other clubs if they wanted. This whole thing is hurting my head now, I just hope we get a happy ending for once!

If (and it is a big if) we are getting him, we are doing it by throwing a ludicrous amount of money at him and Juve - more than Arsenal could afford post Ozil and Sanchez. I know the financial reigns have finally been loosened in Holloway, but don't get giddy - it's only our mental levels of commercial income that mean we have the sort of cash we're going to need for this. Only the oil clubs and the Spanish can match that.
