Nani's been complete and utter shite for two seasons now (you can possibly argue longer) and was a complete waste of skin for Portugal in the WC. Of course injuries play their part but it's not holding anymore with him.

Thought it was known that Van Gaal's first presses was Thursday but his first involvement was tomorrow.
At the very least, with all the smoke coming from foreign journalists the stuff that has been fed to the British press seems unlikely. To say there has been no contact or negations seems hard to believe with the number of reports from Italy and Chile.

To be fair Moyes may have been interested in the players you mentioned. Also, scouting them and keeping track is different anyway.
