on/off liike light switch!!
So it's on?
Let's not get carried away, lads. This Vidal Saga is going to be the same as Alcantara Saga, he won't be here.
Nothing to see here
Drivel.
Clearly open to a move. Club clearly open to selling for the right price. Whether we are willing to pay the dosh/actually in for him is an entirely different matter.
Not to say this is definite or anything but there is something there. I bloody hope it is (almost) exactly like the alcantara saga; you know the one where we had everything lined up and ready to go but moyes pulled the plug at the last moment.
I think if we acted quickly enough then we could have got him. Or if we had sir Alex going for him... I just never had the feeling Moyes actually wanted him or knew much about him to the point that he'd get him. Who knows if we would have gotten him either way, but apparently he wanted more time yo scout him and such.Do people really believe that Moyes was the deciding factor of Thiago not joining United? A far more believable story is that Thiago was generally open to join United, but as soon as Guardiola entered the scene with a proposal to make him a key player in Bayern´s midfield (and from the looks of it this is definitively the plan) there was basically no chance anymore for him to end up at the OT.

This is just a very long thread filled with speculation about something no one knows about. Not so much a saga, just a long thread.
I've laid my account on this one. If he doesn't sign for us, I'm done here.
Edit - actually if we pull the plug because we think his knee is fecked then I'm sticking around.
We want him, he wants us. We are going to pay what it takes.
Pexbo has put his caf account on the line, so I'm hoping he knows what he's talking about.
I wasn't even aware of Real's interest. The naming of Real in that interview seems like it has been done to give us a kick up the backside.Having just bought Kroos, surely Madrid won't be interested? Their midfield is loaded with talent already, and unless they want to move someone on it doesn't make sense. Alonso, perhaps? Different players, but hey, it's Madrid.

There were rumors a few years back Fergie tried to sign him on more than one occasion but Pep was only willing to loan him out.You might well be right. I'm only going off paper reports - seems the general consensus that we were at least close.
I'm convinced that he will change his mind in a second once he sees Tom or Marouane in actionNah, there's no bullshit with van Gaal. He's gonna allow the current crop time to impress him, add to that the fact I'm sure he's more than confident in his own ability to perform with the players at his disposal and that he could be described as an anti-muppet.
"Feckin 'ell. Do we have a 10-year old midfielder somewhere in the youth ranks?!"I'm convinced that he will change his mind in a second once he sees Tom or Marouane in action![]()
No.10k posts by tonight?
If a player is identified and the clab are serious about getting him, and there are good vibes from the selling club, then it makes no sense to sign a player so late that he doesn't get a pre season.
Hope nobody holds @Pexbo to this.Nice. I didn't see that. Glad someone quoted it for evidence.

In the light of Carrick's injury, the pre-season point is especially valid. Ordinarily we may have been relaxed about signing him late, and easing him in after a few games, but we could really do with somebody who can start the season now.
g...so Woody can make a secret roadtrip down to see Vidal ...
feck off Madrid, give someone else a chanceWhat Madrid interested? No wonder it seems like the deal is off we can't compete with them.
It's fecking depressing watch them sign any player they want even if they have no need for him.feck off Madrid, give someone else a chance

Can't see Madrid being in for him, who knows with them though. vultures
