Arturo Vidal

Have I missed something? Also it's fairly obvious we're signing him now. This is done and dusted. They're just giving their fans a bit of recovery time from Conte (why would he have left). Letting him finish his holiday, come back to Italy sort his shit out then on the plane to ringway to join up at the same time as RVP and the others.

Done. Dusted. Next.

I like your spirit. :)

 He 'called' RVP 5 days before it happened, Fergie confirmed a bid for him in July. I could go on now and say ''Mangala has joined City'' and 5 days later or so it's probable he will have. Does that make me reliable for the next rumour in 2 years time despite me bullshitting?

Yes Fergie said we bid for him but nobody thought we'd actually pull it off. Fact is if he was a bullshitter then I'd expect more so called transfer predictions on his TL. There are none except this Vidal one

I think what actually happened is the impending departure of Vidal made conte think about his future and he didn't like what he saw.

That's the story my Juve mate is telling me as well.

That, sir, is very much the spirit.

In fact, I'm not even bothered about if and when the club officially announce the signing, as far as I'm concerned he is now a United player.

And from here on out, when I watch United I'm not going to worry too much about what the official "line-up" says - I'll know that, officially listed or not, he's out there on the Old Trafford turf ripping up the opposition like Keano in his Prime!

Who's this fella?

Arturo Vidal will be the Premier League

He was tweeting about Angelo Henriquez previously. If I'm not mistaken those two ( Vidal and Henriquez ) have the same agent ? I don't know if it's this guy but it's a hell of a coincidence.

Felicevich has a confimed twitter acount that Vidal follows, so he might be worth a follow to keep updated on his clients future.

Aye, definitely, just had a look at his profile. Maybe the guy above's a friend of his or something. He seems to be Chilean anyway.

Give us something goddamnit.

From Sport Witness http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...d-juventus-to-announce-deal-on-monday-35m-fee

Manchester United and Juventus to announce deal on Monday, £35m fee now enough for Vidal

Manchester United and Juventus will announce their first transfer deal of the summer on Monday, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. That will be for Patrice Evra but the situation of Arturo Vidal looms large.

Gazzetta say a financial offer to Vidal from Manchester United (of around €6m a year, they don't confirm this has actually been made) would likely be unmatchable by Juventus and therefore the club would sit down for sale talks. The price now put at a reasonable sounding €45m, which is around £35m

Comments coming from Arturo Vidal have pushed the transfer rumour along nicely. He has had repeated chances to kill the story dead and has done quite the opposite. Juventus boss Beppe Marotta last week also left the door open. Whilst many reported his comments as being 'not for sale', that's simply not what the gist was.

Marotta made it clear that Vidal's future was all down to his own choices, that it was the footballer who would decide where he played. Marotta, just like Vidal, had the chance to kill the rumour dead and he didn't take it.

There's every possibility that Manchester United are being used here, either to flush out interest from elsewhere, from the point of view of Juventus, or to make Vidal appear wanted, from the point of view of the players, his agent, and a hope for a new contract.

Alternatively, Juventus may be genuinely trying to entice Manchester United into making a bid. The football world know they need a better midfield and Vidal is one of the best to help them achieve that. Vidal is 27 years old, his prime market value isn't likely to go anywhere but down after this summer, whereas with Paul Pogba, still just 21 years old, it's a different story.

The Turin club could keep Pogba for another season, or even several if they manage it, and his value wouldn't tumble unless his ability did.

I'm inclined to believe anything anyone of Hispanic origins says about Vidal if it's positive and dismiss everything any English journo, Mitten aside, says.

I don't think any transfer in the history of transfers was as done a deal as this without actually being completed.

I wish Vidal would just hurry up his holiday. Also could it be the case that Vidal didn't interrupt his holiday to complete the transfer because he wasn't fit enough to pass a medical due to his knee and is recovering while on holiday.

More likely that Juve need time to bring players in, which will also help break the blow for some very disappointed and pissed off Juve fans. Putting a bit of time between this and Conte leaving will only help too.

Round and round in circles we go. Evra to be announced tomorrow, which triggers the Vidal move. We've been hearing this every day for probably 2 weeks and nothing has happened.

What's with all the tweets from the random persons? I don't really think it is worth to post those to be honest.

How much enticing do we need to buy one of the best midfielders in the world to strengthen our previously shit midfield? Just get it done! I wouldn't moan about any other signings this summer as I think Vidal is the key one we need which would make the outlook of the entire team look different.

Any reports of when his holiday finishes? surely when he's back in Italy things will accelerate, either he comes out and commits to Juventus or we put in a bid.

If I'm not mistaken Gazzetta is a well known paper in Italy.
So is the daily fail here and we will know what shite they spout.

Yeah you may be correct, I'm still skeptical as it's been on off so many times and no one credible as of yet has declared our interest. Even Andy Mitten isn't 100% sure. Can't wait for the 25th when Vidal ends his holiday, then we will hopefully have some clarification on what the hell is going on.
The Evra deal has to be part of it, surely.

I don't know but either way it's not much to go by. The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Mirror are the UK's most read papers yet they spout endless rubbish.

What is the status of his house sale? Any bids came in yet? Can we ask his neighbours to join RedCafe?
