Oh shut up you moaning nosh bag.

He's going to sign for us, it's bloody obvious if you look at all the signs. It's just the negative "Woodward will sign Osman for £25m" dick heads from last summer that are putting a downer on it.

This is the Sneijder story of 2014, you should have realised it by now. Lots of speculation that will go until the end of the window and will ultimately amount to nothing.

It's over when we say it's over!

Oh sorry, I forgot I was watching reruns on Dave.

Nah this will speed up when he's back from holiday next week, we'll know either way then.

Ok freedom of opinion and all that, but if Vidal does sign, will you change your tagline to 'twat' ?

Manchester United tempts Arturo Vidal with 18 million dollars a year

with a blue tick and over 1.3 million followers.

''According to the newspaper El Mercurio''

Same source that went around Twitter / RedCafe earlier, nothing new.

The story is just quoting the same El Mercurio story that's been rehashed throughout the day by various Chilean sources. Nout new I'm afraid.

And why exactly would I do that?

There's very little to it so far. We are probably interested, just as we ought to be, but it is very difficult and most reliable sources are saying exactly that. Vidal seems content at Juve, they want him there and if he becomes available it could alert other clubs too. There is a very slight chance that he might come to United but at this point I no longer believe he will. We have seen it go exactly the same way with other players.

Yeah, that's deliberate to get hits. They do it often with their headlines but meh most websites dependent on ad revenue do it.

They good job otherwise.

Oh i get that that man. Its just that Sport Witness are not particularly like that with their headlines..

Must be work-experience guy in for the night-shift. He'll get a bashing in the morning anyway..

Vidal has passed up a number of chances to say he wants to stay at Juve. He has covered his bases by saying he's happy at Juve, calling them a big club, etc. but also saying he's aware of other interest, and won't decide his future until he's back from holiday.
Juve obviously wouldn't want to lose him but surely you believe they will sell if the price is right?
Why do you think Conte left just as their pre-season started?

Hopefully we can pay them. Our wage bill has been reduced but it's still high.

It's not high on terms of % of revenue though which is what matters. It was around 51% at the end if the season, then we let Rio, Vida, Giggs and soon Evra and probably Young and a couple others go. That's a huge chunk off the bill.

Yeah, that does seem logical. Young and Anderson need to go, they're probably on far too much.

GdS were reporting €6m a year earlier today, which works out as £90k per week (presumably after tax). Roughly ties in with these El Mercurio wage reports

Clue's in the name...

Is he worth 200k a week?
Probably the best midfielder of his type in the world, in his prime, would fit our club and Van Gaal's style perfectly... Yes, yes indeed.

200k is fine when you consider the wages we've lost and will lose this summer.

Anyway this is happening. Not being announced as to not drive up the prices of Juves targets could be why they aren't announcing it yet. As to not being seen with money to spend.
