Now that Fat Frank has left for the MLS, Paddy has nobody left to suck his pussy. He's leaving England with a heavy heart and Lampard shaped hole in his life.
What

Rafael 99 appearances
Phil Jones 97 appearances incl Blackburn
Chris Smalling 88 appearances incl Fulham
Luke Shaw 60 appearances

Bit light on experience. I always remember Gary Neville saying that you're not really a full footballer until you have made 100 appearances.

What did LVG just say the other day regarding experience

I can barely contain my excitement, I cant wait for the reason Ed left to be the completion of De Vrij or De Jong......pfft

To be honest, I wouldn't mind De Vrij! Wouldnt surpose me if he turns out to be an "Evra or Vidic".
Still very young!

If it's worth a ban, surely it's worth a ban, whether it's about Sir Alex or for example Wayne Rooney or Ashley Young?

Or would it only be a ban if it relates to Sir Alex?

I don't care if the guy gets punishment or not, a single blip doesn't warrant it. Just seems a bit bizarre that posts like that should get ignored. Isn't that the whole point of a report button? To report posts you think is out of line? Well I thought it was out of line. I'll just go back to sitting on my hands in the future.

Also the whole reason Cavani was f*cked off was due to playing out wider and not getting the central role which Zlatan occupies. I think he is a very good player but Rooney is going nowhere and we have Adnan to cover the wide right of a front three.

I agree he is a very good player but not as good as the strikers we have, and as you say would hold Januzaj back out wide, between that and the fee/wages its the most nonsensical transfer saga in years.

We should have prepared better for this. Should have replaced them one by one rather than letting them all leave in one go.

Not a lot you can do in terms of losing them all at once if said players are on the slide and contracts are up - no sense keeping players who arent neccessarily up to it any more.

That said, I agree that replacements should have been brought in before now to ease the transition. Hopefully a new manager makes it easier to integrate new players because its a new start for everyone.

From Benzema to Suarez is a huge downgrade, IMO. Class player but I don't know if he'd fit in over there.

Would be a good signing especially given most players would be a downgrade on Suarez. However Benzema just signed a contract extension after the world cup so nothing to see here.

Pilib de Brun is a ridiculously over the top and seemingly emotionally unstable wreck. He loses his shit and goes on about how if the club don't do X and Y then we're doomed for all eternity. Regardless of his sources he's damaged his own credibility with his retarded comments and opinions. However, him saying that Ed has left the tour is of no real harm to anyone. If people are more selective about the actual tweets they post than just worrying about who said them, we'd be better off.

Ironically, this post is very embarrassing.
You mean like most people on here.

For Rio and Evra to leave in the same summer is very worrying. Not just the loss of experience but they were 2 very big personalities and I imagine they contributed a lot to team harmony and general banter.

Let's hope the spanitos come out of their shell.

Right, too many players have left us now. We need to start replacing them.

Come on Woody, let's get some shit sorted

It goes for everything: Manchester United offered US $73 million to add to @kingarturo23 http://

Seems like a story created to get hits.
Quotes Goal for their ''LvG has given green light''-story, then mentions the fee we're apparently ready to offer, while ending with the quotes from the Woodward interview yesterday.

I suppose that buying Smalling and Jones the club thought they were working towards that. Only time will tell if they were the right ones to sign.

Eh.

Paddy didn't reach 10 years here did he? So no testimonial then; sad, the man deserves one.
Ignore the 10 year thing. The player has to request a testimonial and in turn the club has to put it forward formally, I don't think the 10 year rule actually exists, just s yard stick.
