We should have prepared better for this. Should have replaced them one by one rather than letting them all leave in one go.

Barcelona lose Puyol. Valdez, Xavi and Alves is meant to be up for sale too this year. That's just as bad as ours.

Lets be frank. all we need to do to land Vidal is have him read evra's goodbye message. who in their right minds wont want a bit of that in their career!

While I would stop well short of calling him a senile old twat, I do find the reissue of the book with a minor update a bit of a cynical, money making move. He could do a press release or a big ionterview with the Sunday Times or something like that.

Also I just dont see this ending well for his relationship with Moyes. Either he comes out and says Moyes was the wrong choice (which we all know it was) and lets Moyes down or he comes out and backs Moyes and says he should have been given more time (which he probably should have done at the time, rather than remain tight lipped). I'm sure Moyes would just generally prefer if the whole situation was put to bed.
Fergie is still a board member, he won't speak ill of his employers. He's either going to hang Moyes out to dry or be so diplomatic about it that it won't be worth reading, blaming bad luck, players (who have left) didn't want t play for him etc.

Everybody knows what 'general business reasons' are during transfer window!
Smart and I like it. Although it will be because the kit man has shrunk all the shirts so we have to send Woody back with a bin liner to get the spares.

In general terms, it means that we've learnt the lesson from last summer and won't be saying important transfer business lol

Yep - agree with you.

I personally would have said Woodward leaving the tour was planned and he has left due to scheduled business - this way it puts out the muppets hopes.

The club haven't, surely there is only one reason why he has left the tour so soon, especially after the watch this space comment...

Make it Rain Ed, Make it Rain.

The first glimmers that weve been fooling the press, I expect the Vidal deal to be announced in a week or so, My hat is firmly on the theory that we arent announcing it until Juve have their targets. Lets see who else Juve are in for but its safe to say they have been spending alot of money recently.

Can anyone open the link?
Just keep loading for me and eventually ''times out''

For what it's worth:

A few days ago the news that Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, would release his home in Turin was known, opening speculation about a possible change of Chilean club. However, so far nothing is known about a possible transfer of the "King" Arthur. On Monday, the English website published information Goal Manchester United, would have increased its offer for the Chilean, by express order of the new United manager Louis Van Gaal. The Red Devils would provide about $ 73 million by the Chilean, increasing it offered a few weeks ago, where they put on the table 55 million. The future of the native of San Joaquin, will be defined in the coming weeks.

He looks at this thread regularly.
Imagine him chuckling to himself over the rumours and threads he reads on here whilst he sits back and enjoys an ice cold bottle of over-priced beer on his flights. I imagine him using an Ipad.

Wouldnt the twist be....he is infact a member??!
