Exactly, how did no one get the joke? I said the same thing about Evra on reddit and people got it  .. but then again looking back on it they're a website of trolls.. hmmm.

It's a bit more raw with Rafael, as a lot of non Reds don't seem to rate him. Hence the quick fire defence.

In other news, all a bit tedious on here isn't it. Journalists know jack sh!t, we're engulfed in a tour, and only Mourinho's quite laughable irony that we're paying too much for a player is spicing things up.

Almost as chucklesome as when Chelsea fans moan about City;s spending.

Yeah, joke, good one. Want a shovel?

Really don't think we need Turan. Januzaj will struggle to get enough games as it is.

Never really got that, when he gets a run of games he's the best in the league IMO and our only wide player who can actually cross a ball and not to mention the odd cracker (Liverpool & QPR)

Depends on the players. If he forces a move, then not sure if Roma will want him to keep particularly if we bid something like 25-30m for him.

Roma competing to win the scudetto and could be in the next round of the CL by the time January comes around. I'd seriously doubt a deal would be done in that window.

Cleverley is an average player but It's safe to assume that Van Gaal will improve him if he decides that he's a player capable of playing in his system. He's useless in a midfield two, but in Van Gaal's system he may prove to be a decent option to have. It all depends on whether we sign another midfielder this summer. If we don't, Cleverley should get enough games along with Fletcher and Carrick. Fellaini is a goner IMO.

Better than Zabaleta?
And some of Coleman's performances last season at least matched the best of Rafael too.

Well not to say who's better than who but last season Coleman played a lot as RWB in a 352 system, so he's obviously a better chance of getting a cross or shot in and as for Zabaleta, great player and consistent but he's a dominant midfield that allows him to get higher up the pitch when in control of possession. Great defensively though, mind.

I was in a class in year 10, where we had people who spoke English, Chinese and Korean. The Koreans spoke to one another in Korean, and the teacher told them to stop very quickly because for anybody else knew they could have been saying something offensive about another student or even the teacher. Heck English isn't van Gaal's first language, and he speaks in English to the players, so the players should speak English too.

I mean, Juventus are clearly willing to sell.

This means we're either:
  • Uninterested in the player
  • Unwilling to spend
  • Complete morons
Or Vidal doesn't want to join United due to no European football.

Or maybe waiting for the boss to assess his squad. The impatience of certain sections of posters incredible.
Vidal isnt going to be stolen away in the night & the transfer window is still wide open...

:nono:

Leave that nonsense for desperate journos.

What's nonsense about that?

As much as we like to think we're a huge attraction, and to a lot of players we still are, the lack of European football will be an issue especially if a club with CL football are interested too.

Vidal is in his prime and may not want to miss a year of CL or join a club where there isn't guarantees of future qualifications.

If that's the case then we probably should have just gone for Vidal first instead.
Yes, but Herrera was the easier signing. Trigger the buyout clause, and he's yours. With Vidal, it could be a long running saga.

There's being patient and there's being naive.

It's fairly obvious we've been tracking Herrera for years. He's younger, cheaper and isn't a million miles away from Vidals level.

As much as I like Vidal he has only been a Muppet dream. Never any concrete links and any links were blown out of proportion or taken out of context.

I agree. United missed out for one reason or another on players with European football, when they were champions. So, it's natural there'll be players who won't join united because of no European football.

Indeed we are.

To quote Vidal recently, "I'm very calm, but anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world."
