The fact that he doesn't shut up about it indicates he's sill very bitter about it. Fair enough he may have a point but is it really neccesary to keep repeating it.

SAF pretty much said he didn't like his attitude and signed with Juve long before his contract was up with us. I trust SAF whole heartedly on matters like his, especially when it comes to the character of the player and attitude, he was 100% right about Tevez when the fans were thinking he was some sort of saint.

Doesn't shut up about it? He's said something, when asked in an interview, about 3 times in the last 2 years.

I think once is enough, don't you? These interviews were not done live, he could easily say I've already talked about this before, but he always delves into it again talking about how he's been disrespected etc.

Meh, I think you're being a bit precious about it. Pull up all his quotes out of the artificial context of the article and there's nothing to be upset about.

He left ages ago but you are still talking about it, by that logic are you bitter about him leaving?

Disappointed, yes. Bitter? no. This is a football forum, Pogba is the topic of discussion, i'll let you work out the rest.

Pogba seems very bitter towards us. In all his interviews, I have never seen him say one good thing about SAF or just us in general. To me, he's just too far gone to the dark side to be redeemable. I wouldn't take him back. He's destined to be a Galactico for sure.

Maybe he is bitter. He left his home town club to move to a new country and new way of life no doubt hoping it'd pay off he'd get the chance to be a hero at United. If he feels like he wasnt given a fair chance to do that its hardly surprising if he feels unhappy about it. He's evidently a lad who believed he was worthy of a bigger chance than he got and was pissed off that the club expected him to wait.

He's a young lad and probably says things he regrets, or naively comments on things he maybe shouldnt but I personally wouldnt hold that against him. At that age I though I knew it all but the older you get the more sensible you become.

People talk abot "attitude" - but there's few, if any probalms with him on the pitch, nor does it seem like he's a troublemaker or falling out with team mates.

I well up every time I come into this thread.

I actually watched the France vs Spain game, and thought he was brilliant, as usual really. He'll go onto be one of the greats if he carries on with his progression. Great player, and someone we should be heavily pursuing next year, despite him already playing for us.

Indeed.

Equally, he could be an absolute cnut of a person but who cares?

I long for the days when our opinions on footballers were restricted to how good or bad they were at playing football.

Correct. Roy Keane was a total arsehole by the sounds of it, but it didnt bother me when he won us the CL semi-final.

Some on here are far too precious, and are shocked if a player isnt as dedicated and devoted to the club as they are. The fract is 99% of players have no loyalty to the club their playing for. They want success and good wages, wherever that might come.

He left because he thought it was the right thing to do. It cant have been an easy decision for a kid to pack up and move on again but as it stands it looks like it was a wise choice so fair play to him. He's a kid and will be daft but on the pitch he plays like a much older player.

I actually do think he was a bit too impatient. I'm ok with his relatively limited opportunities. His time could come but - for whatever reason - he wasn't willing to wait.

At the time I thought he was being foolish but with hindsight he's been massively vindicated - if only because he escaped the sinking ship left behind when Fergie retired.

I agree with you, my point was i don't see him wanting to come back to us, as lot of people are hoping he does. Ofcourse i would welcome him back, but don't see it happening, esp with that 50m price tag and what he's said in the past.

It was a big call but I suspect he'd do the same again. He's a young lad on the verge of a massive move - possibly even back here, where he'd be much more highly regarded (and more highly paid) than if he'd stayed.

The funny thing is we were kicking up a fuss not to sign him for more than 20k a week, when 2 years later we sign Januzaj onto a 60+ deal at a similar standing. Guess we learnt that lesson the hard way.

Who was kicking up a fuss not to sign him on that?

We simply must sign Pogba next summer. He'll probably come to us or City just to piss Utd off further.

Well IF, and I say IF as in a HUGE IF, he really is that bitter that he would sign with City just to piss us off, then isn't it very unlikely that he would actually return to us? I mean is he really going to say "I am going to sign with your cross town rivals just out of spite! Oh wait you want me back? Sure no problem."

I don't really gather a ton of bitterness from him, but I also doubt he will come back. If he moves, I still think Madrid is his next stop.

dumbdter is a Liverpool fan.

Will this end up the same way your dreams about Falcao did?

I dream of a team with RvP, Di Maria Falcao and Pogba. Not so keen on Blackett, Valencia, Evans and Fletcher but I'm a picky dreaming bastard.

Dumpster is quite entertaining. I like him. :)

Dont be greedy. You have Joe Allen,Can,Lucas,Henderson etc. Pogba wouldnt get a look in.

Exactly, not when you have the likes of Sakho, Glen Johnson, Toure, Allen and Lucas lurking about

Sakho - better than all your defenders and then some
Toure - will play no part this season - yet you still wish you had him with your current backline
Allen - Excellent player
Lucas - will play less for us than Cleverley will for you (yes I know he's left, exactly!)

Sakho isn't as accomplished as any of our 3 first choice centre backs in the PL, that's the only fact.
Toure wouldn't get in the team.
Lucas and Allen are good players, would you say better than Di Maria & Herrera? I'd be surprised if so..

Blackett- Youngster and not a first teamer
Valencia- Not a first teamer
Fletcher- Not a first teamer
Evans- Off form after returning from injury and not an established first team player under LVG

Am I doing this right?
