Champions League 14/15 group stage matchday 2 (09/30 + 10/01)

How was he not sent off actually? Bottled it because it was so early?

@ItsEssexRob Tell me what you are betting on for the weekend so I could put the opposite mate, might share part of my winnings with you if I feel like it :nervous:

All those empty blue seats

The amount of empty seats is ridiculous.

Can people actually start doing the opposite of me now seriously you can actually see it works. I have a psychic power in reverse.

Someone could've made fecking loads from doing the opposite of you with some of them you lost in the betting thread last season.

Maicon just done Hart, very lucky he was offside.

Dani Alves :D

Tries to skin a PSG player on the edge of his own box, loses it, concedes a free kick straight away. David Luiz scores.

I lost so many 1/50 and 1/100 against it was unreal. The goal in the first 5 minutes was 1/15 as it was.

Maybe my acca will save me, Luiz, what a player silences his critics with that smasher!

1-0 PSG! David Luiz.

Didn't you have an under 1.5 goals with about 1 minute to go when some team scored 2 after you placed it aswell?

Why is it whenever I get a chance to lay something off the oppo score within about 2minutes. Exactly the same thing happened when Arsenal went 1-0 against Soton in the COC they were the only ones who let me down and I tried to lay off when they went 1-0 up but Soton scored within a couple of minutes.

Yes and no. Quite clearly the possession and pressing tactics lead to extreme possession stats and one sided matches. If you sit deep after taking the lead and defend in and around your own box and look to score a 2nd goal on the counter, there's a chance that the underdog starts to attack. If you suffocate the opponent from the first to the last minute, there's not a lot he can do. Play with more attacking players and you see even less of the ball, so a more attacking line-up doesn't really help either. Guardiola's idea of football is very extreme and definitely is partly at fault for how these games play out.

Not that I care, the first 25 minutes were brilliant football in my opinion and it's fully understandable that the team played with less intensity and less concentration after that brilliant start. I also hope that FIFA finds a better solution to punish clubs for racism. It was fecking boring, they should have given the tickets to school classes for free and filled the stadium with children or something like that, way better than the empty stadium.

Now that is a brilliant idea. You'll need a metric ton of teachers and supervisors but it would be the day of their young lives while at the same time sending the right message out to the racists.

PSG-Barça is definitely the one to watch. Great match so far, two good goals.

Yes a Turkish league game, the timer had gone into the 90 and suddenly 8 minutes of extra time went up and there were 2 red cards and 2 goals scored.

Happened in a Japanese game too with 6 minutes to go.
