I genuinely think I'd rather have a defensive partnership of McNair-Blackett rather than Skrtel-Lovren. Not sure what's going on with Skrtel these days and Lovren is just plain shite.

Skrtel has only really had one great season and that was under Dalglish. He was average last year too, he just had the redeeming quality of scoring seven goals.

Manquillo is quality. Why he was dropped a few games ago is baffling.

More of a general observation. He has so much to his game but 80% of the time he lacks end product or picks the wrong option.

I can't believe how poor Pool are defensively. Rodgers has to take the blame for that, it's something he should've addressed in the summer and instead they almost look worse.

I don't think it's even (all) down to the players he's brought in. It's that he's utterly clueless at setting them up and coaching them defensively. None of our players learn from their mistakes.
