I like @SirAF , as much as he likes Ronaldo he isn't your typical arrogant cafe's Ronaldo fan who hates everyone who says something against Ronaldo. The man just likes Ronaldo, little bit too much, but he is nice.

Cheers! Don't make me blush now.. ;)

I certainly won't be laughing when he turns around and scores a hat-trick in his next game, he is Ronaldo after all

Considering that next game is at home to Deportivo (together with Elche the worst team in La Liga this season), that actually seems more likely than not...

30, wow. Seems like only a few years ago he was the scrawny teen showing a bit of promise.

Anyone some nice quotes in honour of his birthday

That was a bad game for him today. What exactly happened? He had rest for 2 weeks, thought he would be fresh and raring to go. If he then scores against weaker opposition, it will again enhance the views that he doesn't drag the team by himself when the team is playing bad.

That's sooo last month. We get here information about him quicker than himself.

His whole game revolves around his team giving him service, as soon as his teams back is up against the wall he will go invisible as he relies on his off the ball movement getting him into positions to score. He cant get into positions to score when his team is being out played thus he is ineffective.

He has done that plenty of times for Madrid over the years in the 09/10, 10/11, 11/12 and 12/13 seasons so he doesn't have much to prove in that regard (during the 09/10 season in particular the media were saying plenty of times that Ronaldo's best performances seem to come when the team is playing badly and that he really steps up in such moments). I recall in 11/12 when Madrid were under immense pressure to pick up three points against Atletico away due to the Barcelona away fixture coming up and the team was playing badly and it was seen as an extremely important fixture for Madrid to win as they were not expected to beat Barcelona at the Nou Camp and Ronaldo went out and scored a hattrick (he was unlucky to not have gotten four) and was man of the match. He did the same the following season (12/13) at home vs Atletico when the team was playing badly and was under pressure and he went out and put in another motm performance, scoring and setting up Ozil.

Later on that season when once again the team was under pressure to win with Madrid being out of the league and United coming up in the CL he stood up and made himself count. Madrid had to win the second leg of the Copa semi against Barcelona which was at the Nou Camp (another game Madrid were expected to lose) in order to gain some momentum and to salvage the season. The pressure was on and once again Ronaldo went out and was absolutely brilliant. Winning a penalty and hitting it home before scoring another later on (after great work by Di Maria). He was everywhere in that game. Dropping deep to set up counter attacks by running forward and carrying the ball or finding Benzema in the middle or Di Maria on the other side with a quick pass as well as playing the ball forward and finding others in dangerous areas. He put in a brilliant performance that night and the goals were just the icing on the cake. There have been plenty of other occasions too but they are just some that spring to mind.

In regards to Ronaldo right now, well, I would say that he had better pick up his form and that he can do so much better than he has been doing over the last two months. He is the teams main player and he has to do more than he is doing now although he is not the only player in the team I would say that about (far from it). Would I say that he is not able to drag the team by himself when the team is playing bad? Well, if I did I would probably be told to have a word with myself by someone with more sense. And rightly so. All players performances dip when the team is not playing well (especially forwards and strikers) and more so in big games (especially when the other team is playing well and is not giving you much space). That is pretty obvious and is not something unique with Ronaldo. He has shown many times over the years that he is one of the few forwards who deals with it better than most other forwards so I would hardly single him out for it.

WTH? I think it's good he saw the funny side of this.

Is there any rules for ball-boys? Like if someone behaves badly, he's not allowed in the field next time. Though funny, I think these things should be cut-off from the game. Makes the players lose concentration and do something in anger.

The best part was that the cnut of a ball boy couldn't look at him afterwards, just stared the other direction with a smug expression

Having "said" that, there should be some rules about the ballboys' behaviour. Their job is to give the ball back to the players as soon as possible. That's what they're there for.

By the way, Ronaldo is going to score a hattrick in the next game.

Yeah that guy should be banned from ball boy duties. That's not on for me. Had it been someone like keane he might not have gotten that kind of reaction.

Atletico hammered them, one of the worst battering i've seen in a while.

When Ronaldo isn't scoring he doesn't do much else but he scores so much it isn't an issue but i terms of performances he foes how the team goes if they are poor he is poor if they are good he is good. He is rarely the catalyst for a great perforce because he cannot create for others when the team is struggling. That has always been my issue with him. He waits around to be fed.

Ronaldos powers have been deactivated now that hes turned 30. Was part of the deal he had with the Devil (red devils).

Yeah he will most likely get a hattrick tomorrow.

Ronaldo throwing his toys out again. Casillas made a mistake but at one nil down he shouldn't be acting like that.

Terry Gibson says of Ronaldo

I think his individual obsession with his own achievements is hindering the performance of the Real Madrid team.

Says he Madrid should think about selling him at the end of the season. Bit surprised since Gibson usually gushes over him.
