thing is when he scores his expectation is his team mates are delighted for him.
It's a problem when it leads to this sort of thing.
No he's not. Narcissists are a different beast. He's just selfish and egotistical. He's a narcissistic cnut.
The problem is he isn't masking his frustration like most goalscorer do. Goalscorers are incredibly selfish at the core. You will only hear it from retired players but the fact of the matter is that a lot of them can be happy with their team losing as long as they score. Especially when there's nothing to compete for.I don't see the problem, really. He's a perfectionist and will do anything to score, its a pity we don't have the same attitude at United.

He might very well be a nice person off the pitch, he seems like a cnut on the pitch though.Still haven't heard anything but effuse praise from his former teammates about him as a person.

Ronaldo should personally hire anyone who defends him over this and get them on his PR team, it's these sorts of blinded nutters who are as dedicated to him as he is.

It is a pertinent point. You get all these saddos that seem to get morally outraged about his celebrations because it is 'not in the team ethos' etc etc blah blah.
So where are all those teammates of his that dislike him because of this? Are they not supposed to be the poor victims of these terrible terrible celebratory crimes?
I doubt his team mates will speak out against the teams star player, because they have some sense of team unity, you know, unlike Ronaldo.
People are poking fun at it, rightfully so. I think the only saddos are the fanclub that make desperate excuses as to why it's okay to walk off in a huff when your team have just scored.
He has plenty of ex teammates. Even Keane loves him FFS! He says in autobiography that he is very likable on a personal level and that he knew he would always get 100% from him on the pitch. That is what footballers care about, not the little dramas that you like to imagine.
All great athletes are selfish and always want the ball (relatively speaking). Ronnie is no different.
Most athletes don't get pissed off when their team does well.
He got so focused on scoring for himself that he didn't actually notice that Higuain had control of the ball while he rushed towards him, and fecked up a goal scoring chance. Things like that happens every now and then yes, but it's a fecking team sport and it's not "Ronaldo show every tuesday and saturday available on your local network".
It cannot be healthy for a team to have a player so focused on himself that he clearly shows dissatisfication after a goal is scored by someone other than him. I don't care how dedicated you are, it makes him unlikable in my book.
Who cares ? As long as the team do in fact do well. I prefer viciously competitive players who always want the ball, especially if they're as good as Ronaldo is.
That's up to you. Majority would agree it's the behaviour of a selfish prick.
I think everybody here is talking about the attitude, not how good Ronaldo is on the pitch. You can't possibly say that that attitude is normal, or okay.It would obviously have its limits, but when you're dealing with one of the greatest footballers ever, then I could care less what he does as long as he produces on the field, and Ronaldo clearly has - year after year.

Yes many players want the ball, want to score, some will even rather go alone on a one-on-one rather than pass for an easy goal, but when their team score anyway very few if any will be angry because their teammates scored a goal instead of them, and he has done that multiple times with different players, and even showed his emotions publicly. There is no way that's acceptable from any player.
Can't just be me who thinks that Ronaldo is in a far better position to score from there? If he'd have left it, chances are the defender would have cleared Higuain's shot off the line. If Higuain leaves it for Ronaldo, he slots it into an empty net.

He's such a narcissistic cnut. Look how unhappy he is.
From this angle you can see him smiling, I would think he was just angry with himself not Arbeloa.

This. Every time he does something that remotely looks like it's "not on", this thread gets swarmed by the steroid midget fans.Wow people love to overreact with Ronaldo
Pair that with over the top body language analysis and video analysis from different angles and it becomes even more amusingThis. Every time he does something that remotely looks like it's "not on", this thread gets swarmed by the steroid midget fans.
He's a bit of a big baby sometimes, I'll give you that, but judging by the comments in here you'd think he committed some kind of genocide.
