Surely not, considering our kit isn't even for sale, heck, we don't even know what it looks like yet.

TearsWind your fecking neck in.
He has the same expression every time we play Barcelona.
I never noticed that, if it's the case. You mean Giggs wore something other than 11, Van Der Sar not wearing number 1, for a bit of fun, or because it's too much trouble to give them their proper number?
In the case of new players coming, like Memphis, he might want a number that is technically taken but about to become available, like Van Persie's 20. Or maybe we're loaning out Januzaj and he'll take 11 when he leaves, but they haven't announced it yet so he's wearing another number in the meantime.
Are you perhaps thinking of back when the players all had different numbers in training?
Yeah, they used to get given a number for training which was different to their shirt number - for example Giggs was 58 (not years) and Scholes was 53. I think the changed it a couple of years ago as part of the training kit deal - now new signings simply get some random number until it's officially decided.
I know, that's why I mentioned it. That's quite different from playing preseason games in different numbers than regular season.
I don't like this..
Would you trust him to be our main striker if Rooney is out for a longer period of time? Why not? He's very strong physically and is very fast, is a good goalscorer, and most important of all always scores over 40 goals a season on FM when I put him up top.
Also it enables us to use a front 3 of Mata, Depay and Di Maria if Rooney is out.
We'll see if that happens. Rooney has been pretty good with injuries and will play most of the time anyways. If he gets injured, then I'm sure we'll have a plan for what to do. Depay up front definitely has the potential to work really well though, he has all the tools for it.Would you trust him to be our main striker if Rooney is out for a longer period of time?
If Rooney is out for a prolonged period then there's no chance we should be relying on Depay. It's hard enough to come into a new league and excel in your natural position, but moving him into a striker role straight away would be ridiculous. In the long run it could be a possibility but not immediately IMO.Why not? That's what I mean, at first he'll just be played there on occasion to see how he does, but then if by chance Rooney picks up a longer term injury, then it'll depend on how he did before to see if he can handle being up front on his own for an extended period. Him being able to play anywhere across the front 3 will see him play loads of games I think, which is good because if all goes well, Mata and Di Maria will be in good form and expecting to start on the wings as well.If Rooney is out for a prolonged period then there's no chance we should be relying on Depay. I'm sure he's mainly going to be a left winger, but when he needs to play up front, then we have Di Maria, Januzaj, Young, Mata all as wingers... I wouldn't be worried about a lack of quality. They just need to perform as they can.If he was playing now and then as a striker, we still need quality out wide.

"We have a lot of quality and all the potential to win all the trophies it is possible to win. I am excited to do my job for Manchester United and to score goals - I am a striker so I have to score and give assists.
Not sure he's ever played as a lone striker? As far as I know he only played through the middle for the Dutch national side in Van Gaal's 3-5-2.
Van Gaal's comments today, coupled with the imminent signing of Darmian (a player who's in recent times played almost exclusively at wingback at both club and international level) makes me think we're likely to see the 3-5-2 deployed (at least in spells) next season.
For Memphis to be a striker he needs to improve his conversion rate. He misses too many easy chances in front of goal.
A less selfish, right footed, downgraded version of Robben?Having never seen him what should my expectations for him be for next season? I still feel we're missing that match winner like Hazard was for Chelsea last season, could Depay be that player or too soon for that?

Was Depay not the Dutch player of the year last season? Sky are saying its this bloke who's just joined Newcastle
