I don't know what to make of this lineup... it could a be a 3-5-2 somehow with Darmain as RCB, Jones Center, Blind left. Young RW, Shaw as LW... Midfield 3 of Morgan, Carrick and Mata... Memphis and Rooney up top.

He said that's part of his philosophy if I heard it correctly. I do know he believes a club should buy players and let some go every season to keep things fresh and competative. Obviously we're also signing at least 2 players so he could say that.

Yeah, i don't think he necessarily meant to slander the current team spirit, yet, if he were overjoyed with the energy of the team he probably wouldn't have been thinking that.

Not more messing about with formations, the 4-3-3 worked well for us and Mata can't play as an actual winger.
