Hazard, where does he rank among the best in the world

I don't disagree. But I can't see LVG lasting much longer at United.. I think this will be his last season.

Quick edit: I think Reus is the best player of the 3. But I didn't include him in the list of signings 'you could make' because I don't think he's a realistic target for anyone. I think (and hope) he's going to stay loyal to Dortmund.
 
If he keeps improving, I think Real will get him in next 2/3 years. Don't think Barca are really interested in him and I don't see how he will replace any of the front 3.

Why? I don't see him getting the boot unless we finish outside the CL places which I can't see happening. He was given 3yrs to win the league. If he doesn't, he'll be put but that gives him next season too.

Will happen sooner, I believe next summer as they look to ease out Ronaldo or decide that Bale isn't good enough.

I don't want to sound like a wind-up mate but can only post my honest opinion:

I think he's too unpredictable, almost to the point of being crazy. Some of the stuff he does makes neutrals laugh.. he overrates himself, treats his players like school children and tries to be overly domineering. He never seems to have a rapport with many of his players and often falls out with them. He makes confusing selections and perseveres with a system even if it appears to be broken.

I think United fans will lose patience this season and force him out.

People are looking too much at stats. Neymar's stats are padded up by playing with one of the best passers of all time and Suarez. A 3rd of his goals have been set up by Messi alone. Hazard doesn't really have that luxury.

Hazard has the kind of dribbling ability that's only exceeded by Messi (and perhaps Robben although that would be close). That added to his excellent one touch play close to the box seals it for me. Muller is good and effective but he doesn't have the kind of natural talent has Hazard. Hazard is an absolute nightmare to play against. Reus is not even close imo.
 
@akash02 I'm basing my opinion on my eyes, not stats. I watch both leagues regularly and there are many players in La Liga superior to Hazard at this moment. Stats have absolutely nothing to do with it.

Hazard's overall game is better than Neymar's but not by enough to compensate for Neymar being a vastly better match winner. Hazard is more Aguero's level, although the latter has of course played a higher level longer.

Neymar's been sensational for Brazil too. He's on course to beat Pele's record. I guess it's only because Messi and Suarez assist his goals for Brazil as well. If Hazard was even close to being as good as Neymar, Madrid would have broken the bank for him already. Hazard stands out currently only because the EPL isn't particularly good at the moment. He's been underwhelming in Europe and for Belgium.

Saying Reus and Muller are better is also deluded he is better but not by much, hes also better than Sanchez and whilst not a better striker I think better overall than Aguero.

Hes not close to the top 2 and below Suarez Neymar Robben, He would rank somewhere between 6 and 9.

Never said La Liga is shit but the top 2 areally head and shoulders above everyone. Put Hazard in the Real team and he would cause havoc.

He is most definitely not better than a fit and firing Aguero.

In which respect? Aguero is one of the best goal scorers in the world, but what about overall? I guess its arguable and maybe down to the fact I see a lot more of Hazard because hes less injured.

He is so good he would definitely cause havoc put in the Real Madrid team. He'd cause havoc in that Chelsea team too. Big teams also come with their own price though. He wouldn't see as much of the ball as he does at Chelsea in the other half because of players like Ronaldo and Bale. Overall i don't think the difference would be significant. Chelsea are a very good team themselves.

Easily better in my opinion. Hazard used to flatter to deceive but not now. Augero is excellent but can't stay fit enough as you touched on. I'd have hazard every day of the week over Augero.

Hazard beats him in being a better dribbler, but Aguero's ridiculous goalscoring record edges it for me. It just can't be ignored when determining who a better player is. Then again as the guy above said, Aguero is as useful as a chocolate teapot to the team when he is as injured as much as he is nowadays

I think what Hazard doesnt do enough of that would bump him up a tier is what he did vs Barcelona last week. Carve defences open and score through the middle, similar to how he did vs United away last season but without the DDG save. We see him dribble past people but he often stops still or ends up too far wide, mostly due to Joses tactics. Its the kind of thing I have wanted to see from him from the start?

Or when we won that penalty v us last season, incredible run. He should be in a team that lets him try that every week.

What? Hazard better than Muller? You're kidding me?!

It could be argued that he is better than Reus (I think that Reus is the better player but it is marginal), but Muller? Come on, not even the most deluded Chelsea fans can believe that.

I thought we were all supposed to care only about goal/assist stats? Muller has never scored more than 13 league goals for Bayern, surely that means he's utterly worthless? I am so confused!

He's actually got three younger brothers (Thorgan, Kylian and Ethan). Kylian I think plays in Belgium and Ethan is at some French sides youth setup.

Hazard's dad and mum were also both players. Apparently his mum was still playing when preggers with Eden.
