Bundesliga 2015/2016

Too much to translate it - so it is just for the German speaking here.

Just read the bullshit from Immobile, incredib(i)le  Isn't this guy loaned from BVB anyway? How much of a fecking moron you have to be. (given that he didn't bother with learning foreign languages and German seems to be insurmountable object for him then I guess I've got the answer)

As for the above, brutal  Holtby one made me laugh pretty hard.

There is always two sides.

The biggest extreme was probably Breno - and yes, that was Bayern. Bayern did not have the environment at that time for a young stranger like him. Today with Rafinha and Dante he probably would not have much problems.

There is professionals like e.g. an Alonso or Pepe Reina - or even some of the younger ones - who stand with both feet on the ground and do not need any help to settle in a foreign country. Some might have agents who take care of everything. But some need a helping hand - and Immobile just seemed to be one. It seems that he wasn't really welcomed well in Dortmund by the team and he did not get a lot chances to play.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I remember a young Belgium guy at Bremen who did not want to learn the language 2 years ago because he did not like the country and the people... - his German now is good and he seems to feel well in Bremen...

Translation:
• "I miss the warmth and atmosphere of Genk. The Germans are more stiff. Their mentality does not suit me. If Werder is a family it applies only to the people from here. "

• "I had first German lessons from the club, but I refused. I do not like it. Frankly, I would not like to live in Germany later on! "

About his relationship with Thomas Schaaf he says: "The coach is okay, but we are not talking. It's simple: He has never come to me and I never went to him."

Is Henrikh Mkhitaryan into chess because he's Armenian?

Well... who can guess the reason? But he is into chess. He seems like a pretty brainy chap all around (at least from what I grasped from the media).

Its pretty big around that area isn't it though? Its a shame he has no one to play against!

Yeah. I guess he could always play online against some of his buds. Maybe that's why he never invited poor Immobile for dinner. He's playing online chess all night... sorry Ciro.

Immobile should've never left Serie A. He has only had a single good season in the top flight, not quite sure how he earned his move to BVB. They jumped the gun on him really.

@The Mitcher: to answer your question from a few days ago:

nobody outside of some nasty west-berlin boroughs gives a sh*t about hertha and their oldtimey...west-berlin...hertha...lobby/mafia...thingy they have going on.
as an example: i'm a born-and-raised berliner and i'd say i know/knew of three (3! THREE!) people in my broader surrounding who classify as genuine hertha fans. growing up in east-berlin and being into football meant either choosing a "genuine" club like bayern, dortmund or gladbach or going all east-german and root for union, dresden, rostock or whereever your family may have come from, not long ago. of course many kids in west-berlin might have been "into" hertha at some point or another, but that seems to fade away rather sooner than later, generally speaking... (hertha supporters really aren't of the nicer part of the demographic)

also we have union berlin in the 2nd division, they're kinda harmless and have a cute stadium that you can go to without any hassle, plus the bratwurst is okay, they serve berliner pilsener and not the horse piss over at the olympia-stadion, aka that place that still makes you feel like it's 1936 again.
btw, the last time i went to union was for a friendly against celtic glasgow and they had a LASER SHOW, YAY!
also nobody really cares about how hertha fares, in general, except for when they have been going on a lengthy winning streak all of a sudden, but, erm, yes - i think the last time that happened was under lucien favre, back in 2012 or whatever, when they even were at the top of the table at mid-season, iirc. but then they did in fact fire favre shortly after, for nothing. wow, that was really bad and stupid. the people responsible are the worst really, meaning they're still in charge. argh.

ps. i'd struggle to name but a very select few of hertha players, let alone players of union.

I have been wondering for many years how Michael Preetz kept his job after the countless feck-ups he caused during his tenure as Hertha's director of football. I guess he's a convenient puppet for higher-ups. Him and Bader were for years the worst directors of football in the Bundesliga and should have been fired a long time ago. Well, at least in Bader's case Nürnberg finally pulled the plug.

i sometimes wish to have bundesliga's 50+1 rule revoked just to see some saudi-qatarian oiligarch from china take over hertha and turn it into some PSG-like BERLIN FC monster. i mean what overpaid super-megastar wouldn't wanna spend their 20s as a millionaire in freakin' berlin, the world's most-buzzing party capital of the planet? YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO WEAR A SUIT, LIKE, EVER.

maybe they'll give bayern munich a serious run for their money as well.

You can buy a Maß in their stadium though, they've got that one going for them.

It was a gamble, unfortunately it didn't work out though but I can understand why they went for him because he was Serie A's topscorer with 22 goals.

So Aranguiz signed for Leverkusen? Don't know how he did in South-American football competitions but he was a cracking player on the WC and Copa.

I think he's gonna be a superb player for them. Optimal Castro-replacement perhaps.

Interesting, weirdly traditional use of our fullbacks from Guardiola it seems. Now just replace Alonso with Thiago and it'd be pretty much my dream lineup at the moment.

Pretty much the same football we've been playing since february, i.e.: Not awe inspiring.

First goal of the season!
Benatia!
Beautiful freekick delivery from Alonso. Credit where credit is due.

I see Labbadia worked on the defense of set pieces. There were like three red ones completely unmarked with one player more. Impressive...

Benatia certainly is creating some action on both ends of the pitch.

So, now please two quick goals on top of that so I can go watch United.

That looks bad for Lewandowski.

Spahic is such a fecking thundercnut. Get that piece of shit out of here.

That was incredible from Douglas Costa. Amazing pace and what a cross, wow.

3:0 Müller after a fantastic outside of the foot cross from Costa. What an assist!

saw the score at HT, now had a brief peek again and 4-0... bayern machine has started!

Good grief, Costa, take it easy. 5:0
Looking like an absolute steal so far. What a player.

Robben-esque. A bit weird in the build-up to it though. Poor Hamburg, nothing has changed this season. They'll start the season at the bottom of the table and it'll be a tough battle to move up.

By far the best result they had at Bayern in recent times. :nervous:

They only lost 3-1 in Munich in Guardiola's first season if I'm not mistaken. Other than that, it's been a bit hard for them in Munich in the last 6 years, yes. 5-0, 6-0, 9-2, 8-0 and now 5-0.
