That's wrong. You will not meet a chairman or owner who loves the club as much as kenwright does with Everton.
Everton are a small local club with limited global appeal. Any money they make has to be carefully invested. Championship clubs need to spend more, in order to try and get to the PL and stay there.

Yup, I'm aware of that, read quite a bit about how strongly he feels for the club. Doesn't mean he won't be frugal though. Does any club in the PL spend less? They don't really need to be a global brand really, the PL makes a lot of money.

1 goals and 1 assist in one and a half games from Barkley. Boy's gonna be a beast.

Yeah, superb counter.

Why do Everton spend so little btw? Always been interested in knowing this. They simply don't spend.
This is an interesting overview about the wealth of the 20 owners in the Premier League (if you read past the obvious Liverpool bias about some owners). Kenwright is the third poorest owner with 'only' £33m at his disposal.

Poor guy. Maybe Caf can host a charity event or something.

I wonder if Robbie Savage is self aware of the things he's saying?

At least he gets his words out in a somewhat timely fashion. I'll take his nonsense over Michael Owens stuttery nonsense any day of the week.

Kone is only interested in passing to Lukaku and unfortunately when he is trying to find that pass misses other possibilities of passing to other team mates in better positions

Nah, a Tony Pulis side doesn't get relegated.

There's a first time for everything, mate. This WBA side is shocking, with the exception of Berahino. Unless they strenghten significantly in the next couple of weeks, I can't see them staying up.

Pulis is not all that, despite his rosey spell at Palace.

Leave aside his wealth. Surely Everton make enough money on their own not to be so frugal?

Barkley makes it three, another good finish from him to go with his one last week.
