The press just don't have a clue what's going on with us.

Probably helps explain the increasingly spiteful and asinine tweets from the likes of Ducker.

His reputation lives and dies by his ability to be well connected and able to break stories about the Manchester clubs.

Seems he's lost all his sources and now just flails around trying to put pieces together like the average man of the street.

Bullshit. I blame Moyes for a lot of things, but clearing out players from a title winning squad in his first transfer window should not be one of them. Fergie managed to get performances out of these so called "deadwood" and won the title, and managed to battle Real Madrid in the champions league.

can Leno or other keeper deal with crosses on a regular basis then? I don't think Bundesliga is about crosses only though.

None of the other keepers out there are as good on crosses as De Gea and Courtouis, not even Neuer, but Leno and the other German keepers are proficient enough at it for it not to be an issue, their keepers are taught in a similar way to ours, Navas is more the classic dive for the cameras keeper common in Spain and South America.

Agreed, and add Ogden to that list too!

Yes that is a crazy thought, have you actually watched him? He can't cope with aerial threats at all, he flaps at everything that comes in high, he's not suited to the PL at all, it's just reality.
That sounds like DDG in his first season here.

Believe me, exams are more fun than some of the reactions here today

Don't worry Januzaj is just a loan. No buyout clause.

Yes, Fergie. Noone else could have.

Perhaps then. Out of curiosity are young GKs in South America trained to get into flashy dives so that the camera could replay the save?

Still cannot blame Moyes for that. He had to give those players a chance.

Possibly as many keepers tend to be show offs in general, but I also think the type of football they play lends itself to that aspect as their job is mostly shot stopping, the things considered the vital fundamentals in say England and Germany are not valued there as they don't play the type of football where the keeper needs to bother being good at those aspects.

Sky now reporting United will get around 19 Million for DeGea. Navas will cost 10 Million.

Did arsenal actually sign no one other than cech yet? Not even some random French kid like sanogo?

To be honest, whatever we have paid for Martial im pretty happy, no one can say anything really. Considering city paid so much for sterling...who is the same age and scored two goals less for Liverpool last season than Martial scored...

And that made it even more difficult for him to do. I think him wanting to give a chance to everyone was because they won the league rather than him rating some of them. A bit of a lose lose situation for him.
Precisely - and imagine the furore on here if he'd just walked in the door and dumped half the title-winning squad.

Cant wait for Marital, we will have two strikers who have failed to score in their respective leagues this season! :D

You mean they pay £19m for De Gea and we pay £10m for Navas so it's £9m plus Navas

Or do you mean they £19m cash with Navas valued at £10m cash so it's £29m for De Gea or about 40m euros

I'm guessing the second option.
