It's going to be something as silly as a new boot launch or something. But won't be long before express and metro come out with 'greizman hints United deal' based on this

Ogden also mentions Rojo could leave tomorrow. Surely we would have a defender lined up before that happens. Rojo departing would leave us worryingly weak at the back with a lack of options.

This is getting more ridiculous by the second.

No way Rojo is going. That would be madness. I hope ogden is wrong as usual...

Lindegaard - Yep
De Gea - Drat and double drat, but what can be done? Lad unsettled.
Vidic (pre-agreed) - Went to soon, but would be gone by now.
Ferdinand (retired) - Yep.
Evra - Yep.
Rafael - A favourte of mine. Sorry to see him go, makes me wonder about the LVG regime, believer that I am.
Evans - He did good things in the past, but was well beyond sell by.
Blackett (loan) - good for Blackett. He may well come back and be an important player for Utd.
Fletcher - Yep
Cleverly - Yep
Giggs (retired) - Yep
Januzaj (loan) - Without a brilliant replacement, I just don't understand this.
Nani - yep
Van Persie - Should have kept him another year. I admit to being a RVP fan.
Falcao (loan ended) - yep.
Di Maria - amazingly gifted and expansive player. Signing him helped make me believe in the philosophy. Were those burglars City fans. That was definitely a Manchester City winter. Seriously, pity about his attitude. And the burglars.
Hernandez - strange one. He was awful last week, but I would have thought he would need more than one match to sharpen up his game.
Anderson - errr, Yep.
Buttner - yep.
Macheda - yeo
Kagawa - yep.
Welbeck - definitely yep.
Zaha - yep
Bebe - good God almighty.
Janko - hmm. Yep.
Henriquez - don't know much about him.

Thanks for the list, @simonhch. When it comes down to it, its the cumulative effect of such a severe squad haircut that's a bit worrying as opposed to the individuals being cut loose. In the end I would have quibbled with only three, and Vidic wasn't really LVG's doing.

Edit: I know I didnt do the quote thing exactly right, this for speed & convenience.

I'm guessing it's the huge wages that most of those players are on that hinder the selling price.

Sugar daddy clubs like PSG can afford to pay large fees and wages but for most clubs it's one or the other.
It's not like we're not spending loads on wages too, though.

Ogden's article i posted last page is interesting.

He says that United are adamant they'll go after a striker and will only let Wilson go if that happens.

Also mentions that Rojo may leave tomorrow.

So, am i right in thinking that at the moment, assuming martial is a striker, and wilson goes on loan, that we have two strikers in the entire squad?

I took that tweet as Griezmann saying he will stay true as in stay at Atleti?

the stay tuned hashtag is strange though.

I have said on various threads and in conversation that I'll wait until the window slams shut (TM Sky) before I judge our business and I stick by it.

But SURELY our business won't be:

IN - Navas, Martial
OUT - Hernandez, Januzaj, DeGea, Lindergaard

Right? RIGHT?!

I get that, and it does seem obvious, don't get me wrong, I don't think he will move, but has he been seriously linked with anybody to make such a tweet

Yes mate. Absolutely unbelievable.

Everyone seems to hate him right now, but if we lose Rooney to an injury for any given time we will be relying on an unproven 19 year old and a big old Belgium bog brush head to lead the line.

Right, Valdes and Wilson out too.

From where did this ADM quote come from: “Van Gaal has his philosophy and it is one of the reasons why I wanted to leave Manchester United,” Di Maria said. “It’s difficult to adapt to Van Gaal. I had a number of flare ups with him.”

I saw somebody mention earlier that Andy Goldstein is a troll so I'll spoiler his reply to Greizmann's tweet. He's been banging on in the last week that United have a big player lined up.

Translates to 'looking forward to playing in manchester ! ?'

By the end of the day tomorrow, we will have signed Bale or Kane. Or both.

You can quote me on that

He literally admitted to wumming today mate, he knows nothing.

If we could get an established defender in, I wouldn't be totally against Rojo going as he can be a bit eratic...

Problem is, only the UK window is open tomorrow, so if he's not gone today, he aint going

I think you lot are doing all the shitty transfers today and will do all the cool ones tomorrow.
I hate last minute transfers ..I remember staying up in 2013..waiting for Herrera..then it happened: Sky sports: We understand that the Ander Herrera deal has fallen through...then Sky Sports: We understand Manchester United have signed Fabio Coentrao on loan...Hang on a minute, we lied...I then celebrated like we had won the world cup when one signing did go through..

It was Marouane Felliani
