Literally a joke.

And fans want a guy who has bent us over and signed a contract with another club immediately back in nets.

Madrid seemed cagey about paying so much and then the fan poll on Marca today overwhelmingly revealed that Madrid fans want to keep Navas and get De Gea for free next season instead of paying a fortune for him this summer

I wouldn't be surprised if Florentino Perez pulled the plug on this one at the last second for fear of a fan backlash

I cannot see why people are happy. Instead of £22m and a good keeper we will have a decent looking chap sitting in the stands while our goal is guarded by one of the worst keepers in the league. In the meantime Real Madrid will patiently wait a year before getting one of the best goalkeeping talents for free and instead of £20m in the bank and Navas we will have to spend £45m to replace him with someone inferior knowing us.

Yay, we really pulled one over them!

Exactly what Im thinking. Also, the whole fecking thing has become hugely tedious, was glad for it to be sorted, one way or t'other.

Great, I'm sure he'll feel really appreciated aswell.

My god what a mess...
It's shite for the players, Dave still wants to go and now Navas knows the club don't give a shit about him.

Don't know why you're all laughing......This just means Romero is our number 1......

Dave has to start against the scousers, LVG is stubborn but he classed as an idiot if he player Romero over a keeper who's arguably the best in the league.

To people who are laughing, we're going to have a big mess of a GK situation right here, not to mention the money lost.

This is only a good thing if De Gea's past love for our club wasn't completely fake and he's willing to try and make amends. If he acts like a mercenary while waiting for his free transfer then we are fecked... they get two quality keepers next year we are left with none, and have to dip into the war chest to get one.

Yeah, Man Utd feck up the paperwork and it's all Madrid's fault

They fecked around and left it til the last night.

We've left them with serious egg on their face, barely effects us either way.

Btw, slight tangent but why do the European and English transfer windows end on different days?

I am so confused. Someone tell me how I am supposed to feel about this.

I honestly don't want the cnut at our club. Hope the move is not broken down. He doesn't want to play for us. Why do fans want to keep him?

I honestly don't get how people are thrilled about this. There's more than an outside chance that LVG decides that if his head wasn't right before, it hasn't gotten any better since all parties made it clear he was gone and he missed out on his dream move by minutes, so he'll stay on the bench, leaving us with that other tit, in goal.

United fans are getting on with the idea of Woody fecked Madrid off but forgot the blatant obvious fact.

It's because I like most people here are laughing and joking are complete fed up with Madrid that it's hilarious to see something go wrong for them for once. They some how always get what they want and why players want to go and play infront of fans that abuse their own players and attack them is beyond me. Its just a feck Madrid type day that ended the best possible way.

We lose money if he leaves on a free next year AND I don't want him near the squad but I'm happy it bit Madrid in the ass. After all its not like we're broke.

This is brilliant. Feck Madrid.

If they really wanted him, they should have paid up earlier. I guess we won't be getting Navas at all because of this. Still, it's worth it to see them feck up.

I know we probably had the best interest of this deal to go through, but I can't help myself
:lol::lol:

As funny as it might be now this is bad as I still can't see DDG playing for us again, which only means one thing...

Paco González is saying that Madrid didn´t leave this for the last day.United set a price today. I am fine with Keylor but I think that Manchester had a very ugly behavior with David if they sent the documents intentionally late. On the other hand Madrid should have fixed this weeks ago

it may be farcical from our side, and Ia also suspect it was deliberate .... but Madrid have only themselves to blame for the shoddy way that have negotiated during this transfer. Simply pay the required fee and be done with it weeks ago.

If it was deliberate, I question the ethics of it, but it is a royal feck You to Madrid on taking our players unfairly.

As for De Gea, whilst I sympathise with him emotionally, he signed and has a legally binding contract with us. Unless we chose to end that on our terms, tough luck.

You say that as though Navas and De Gea will be happy with the way Madrid handled this. Both feeling quite unwanted right now.

I actually feel kind of sorry for De Gea now. He was actually at Edurne's too, they're probably crying their eyes out acting like he has to go back to war now

I can totally see De Gea throwing his toys out of the pram and not wanting to play, thank god theres not a big international tournament on the horizon that he'll be eager to try get into the Spanish side for.
