This obviously isn't very good on the whole but it's also rather brilliant.

Madrid have behaved with arrogance all summer and should have dealt with the club with a degree of respect.

We can still sign a keeper tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if we slap a bid in for someone.

Madrid learned an important lesson today. We're United, we don't want your money, we'll cause you all sorts of problems that will cost you lots of money. Don't even bother with our players.
Nah we just pissed them off

They will still get our players if they want and probably never sell us Bale

Maybe he'll get a pity feck out of it, it's not all bad Davey boy....
Why did I say 'actually' and 'now' twice?

Aye, maybe Edurne should just stop being a little slut and come live in Manchester.

I don't think Madrid were desperate to get him in the first place, they can just wait a season no problem.

But it's just too funny to imagine all the people involved.

Genuinely don't care about DeGea. I just don't want Romero to start in big games fir United. Whether it's DeGea or Valdes getting the nod I don't care. If DeGea is too 'distraught' to play for us Valdes needs to come in from the cold. Romero ain't good enough.

Do we reckon Dave will ever go to Real now? If he wants to return to Spain, surely he'd want Barca or even Atletico after today?
His main reasoning for going was to due with the Euros (as others are still preferred over him somewhat), if he nails down the number one position this year then he probably wouldn't bother leaving.

:lol::lol::lol: That is farcical if doesn't go through. De Gea will be pissed and we will lose him for free anyway.

Also I imagine it would be extremely difficult to do business with Madrid for any of their players in the near future.

I'll bet anything that De Gea is a Madrid player this time tomorrow. As funny as it would be, Madrid are just too powerful to let 60 seconds stop them.

Course they will. Business is business and it'll all be forgotten in a few months. If Bale pushes for a move to United, we'll get him even if Perez clings on to his ankles to stop him boarding the plane.

If this is true and it's Uniteds revenge I'm guessing there is a lot more to the story than meets the eye.
I'm talking really nasty tactics behind the scenes from Madrid or David himself.
I can't see David playing for us again, we'll have somebody else lined up and put on a public face about having 2 quality keepers fighting it out

If this is purposefully done on our end and we leave De Gea to rot on the bench for a season, meaning Romero is our #1, and then De Gea leaves for free next summer, then it is a pretty stupid move.

If De Gea plays and plays as well as last season, and then leaves for a free, that is acceptable.

If De Gea signs a lifetime contract, dumps Edurne and publicly declares his love for the club, the city and San Carlo, then it's a genius move.

This whole clusterfeck has cheered me up no end. We've clearly got money to burn if we're buying players nobody has ever heard of for 80m euros, so why not feck Madrid off for the lolz.

Offer DDG £250k a week now for 10 years.

Why didn't they just offer 100m and Ramos for him at the start of the window?
why not 200?:), now it doesn´t matter. United wanted to keep a proud position and definitely they got it although humiliating David

The less business we do with these cnuts, the better.

Hope it goes through in the end, but how do you not laugh at this .

DDG had time to get a special suit and have promo photos taken before sorting the paperwork, but it's United's fault it was a minute late.

 you're talking complete shite... if you want a player so badly, you don't wait til 5 minutes before the window closes to try get it sorted.

They should have sorted it weeks ago.

Also they have treated both Casillias and Navas like utter shite this summer.
Classy bunch.

Exactly.

They've treated Navas like a piece of shite who will presumably be their number 1 this season. They've had an entire summer to sign DDG, yet they leave it to the last day to lodge a proper bid? How is that our fault?

And people seem to forget that Madrid screwed us on the Coentrao deal a few years back by not lodging the paperwork in time. I didn't see the posters all come out and blame Madrid for that.

Was it? I'd say the main reason for him wanting to leave was to play at the biggest club in Spain, in the city he came from, where his 10/10 girlfriend lives.
