Bundesliga 2015/2016

Malli misses the best chance of the game. Would have been really harsh on Leverkusen, we've done feck all this game and they've dominated.

Ramos for Castro. Obvious sign from Tuchel to go for the win here.

1-1 FT
Oh well, on a lucky day we win this one. Clearly improved performance in the 2nd Half. Can live with that.

hoffenheim's niklas süle with a terrific display. the draw was deserved, imho.

kagawa with a complete shocker of a game. that was extremely underwhelming. with the absence of gündogan and mkhitaryan in the first half, it was up to him to orchestrate the attack. imho.

reus returned from injury, thus/though he didn't really show much. hofmann with a mediocre first-half display. januzaj on the bench all match long. ramos came in, but had a very bad match.

also it seems like weigl has been found out a bit. it's becoming a little worrisome how much dortmund are relying on the young lad, given that there is no other deep-lying playmaker at hand - sahin and bender were both out due to injury. at least bender is supposed to return to the squad, maybe even in time for the upcoming match. sahin's ongoing injury crisis remains without any (uplifting) news..

Yeah, it's great to see that he seems to be almost back to his best after his long injury break last season. He's a fantastic centerback talent.

So Hannover are apparently keeping Frontzeck and are about to sign Bader as DoF - it's like they are begging to get relegated...

Kind is a pussy. He doesn´t want to fire Frontzeck, so he´ll wait till Bader is officially in charge. Then Frontzeck will get axed by Bader. It´s probably in Bader´s contract: First game Frontzeck loses you have to fire him and take the full responsibility.

Frontzeck must know some dirty secrets about half of the league. It is inexplicable, that is is still getting jobs.
To be fair, probably the only reason why he got another one after is dismissal at Gladbach was that he had a decent spell in between at St. Pauli.
But yeah, his record is atrocious: Less than 1 (!!) point per game and two more games with Hannover and he'll have 150 games in the Bundesliga as a manager. :lol:That's about 4,5 complete seasons. Surely he most have the worst record of all Bundesliga managers with +100 games?
I guess this will be his last time as a Bundesliga manager for a long time, more likely forever.

Sad thing is, i can imagine that this is true!

Well to be fair, he always coached the worst teams though.

Aubameyang is on 7 goals out of 6 games by the way, his development since his transfer to Dortmund is great to see.

He was one of my favorite players from the day he appeared on our training facilities. With respect to the number of goals this season, it should be considered that Auba scored 3 out of his 7 goals from penalties, which usually - if he had been on the pitch - Marco Reus would have taken.

Actually - similar happened in the away match in Wolfsburg in spring of the season 2013/14. We had a 1:1 - and then Pep subbed in Mandzu and we changed to a 4-2-3-1... Some minutes later it was 6:1... (not the Lewy show - Robben, Ribery, Müller and Mandzu all participated)

Actually I seem to remember that it was Thiago coming on that changed that game.

First post in the main forum, pedantic nitpicking. Well done, me.

Cristiano Lell, now that's a funny username. Welcome mate.

Line-up: Neuer - Thiago, Martinez, Lewandowski, Costa, Rafinha, Alonso, Lahm (K), Müller, Alaba, Coman
Bench: Ulreich - Boateng, Bernat, Götze, Rode, Vidal, Kimmich

Having centerbacks in the team is overrated anyway.

Three at the back with Alonso as a sweeper. You can tell Pep played under Cruyff.

Wolfsburg (as it might interest some here)

Gustavo is injured. No real surprises here - but very offensive with just one real midfielder. Against United Arnold probably will partner Guilavogui.

Gladbach already 2:0 up against Stuttgart. They seem to have turned the corner.

It is amazing how much difference the mental and psychological aspect does for the performance. Us last season and Gladbach this one....

Nice to see that Gladbach seem to have been able to turn things around so quickly.

yep. I also get the feeling, that Favre struggled to take a step back and make things easier for the players. Schubert is keeping things simple at the moment, so players have slightly more freedom to play their natural game.

What's the Bundesliga record for penalties against one team? Gladbach must be well on their way...

Coman with another assist. He´s not going back to Juventus.

Lewandowski again. Vidal assist.

Looked offside? They did not show a replay of the scene, though, so I´m not sure.

Kampl with a better shot that he has ever shown for us... 3-0

na. they need to go down. Kind is a prick and they are soooo boring.

Every week Frontzeck is on the job increases that likelihood. As a Darmstadt supported I need Frontzeck and Zorniger/Dutt in charge as long as possible. Stuttgart is a good team, but horribly unbalanced and they keep pushing forward in a style completely unsuited for their amateur defense. Therefore Mr. "The zero must stand" Stevens needs to stay retired.

Kind would probably replace Frontzeck with Neururer or something like that. Stuttgart just missed another clear cut chance. I hope, that Gladbach can hang on to their lead.
