The failure was our attacking and creative players to create. Midfield controlled possession and didn't really make any mistakes. They distributed the ball adequately. Herrera was invisible. Martial was shut down. Lingard was decent. Rooney might have been shite, but you'd have to guess because he never saw any sort of quality service.
