Bundesliga 2015/2016

Haching 2-0 up. Haha feck off Red Bull.

No. When we're playing like today with real intensity, it's just a joy to watch. There's nothing boring about it. It won't last forever and I can enjoy every game we play on that level at the moment.

The two seasons after the 99 treble Utd were so dominant domestically there was definitely a complacency that crept into watching us. The 2001 season especially.

Having it so easy domestically didn't help us in Europe I think, it was difficult to switch the intensity on. Maybe that has been Bayerns problem in Europe under Pep.

There's no doubt you're great fun to watch when you play like this though. When Bayern play more direct they are fantastic.

That was awesome. For the first time in ages it looks as if Guadiola showed some balls in an away game against a good team and didn't tell the players to pass it safe.

Ugh. I can just about take losing to a shit team who score from their only two chances, but the refereeing performances EVERY SINGLE WEEK take the fecking piss.

We were just denied a clear pen at the weekend, now we're hit with an absolute joke of red card and denied another stonewall feckING PENALTY. feck off!!!

I am envious of Bayern and I'm desperate for us to reach this level someday.

Can someone please tell my why Juve sold Coman.

He's on loan, but he'll probably leave Juventus anyway. They've Berardi coming in for him and he's just as talented as Coman, maybe even more. Munich's financial muscle is most likely just greater.

He'S on loan with Munich holding a first buy right. If they wanna keep him, Juve can't do anything about it.

A couple of surprises tonight...

Wolfsburg - Bayern 1:3 (0:3)
Darmstadt - Hannover 2:1 (0:0)
Bochum - Kaiserslautern 1:0 (0:0)
U'haching - Leipzig 3:0 (2:0)
FSV - Hertha n.V. 1:2
Mainz - 1860 1:2 (1:0)
Aue - E. Frankfurt 1:0 (0:0)
Nürnberg - Düsseldorf 5:1 (4:0)

Haching in the 3rd round, the kittens throwing out Mainz, Frankfurt out, too...

Is it getting boring for Bayern fans?

Just how much better they are than everyone else in Germany? It's like doing a career mode on Fifa and playing on the semi pro level or something.

It obviously won't be boring for Bayern fans. Heck if United dominated the league like Bayern are doing now, playing beautiful football to boot, then I don't think any United fan would be getting bored either. Don't think the same applies for neutrals though, after a while you kind of lose the incentive to watch them regularly, unless you really like their playing style or some of their players.

It's fair to say Ancelotti isn't a fan as well

The Bavarian giants won their 100th Bundesliga game on Saturday, defeating Cologne 4-0 and keeping their 100 per cent record from 10 league games this season intact.

However, Ancelotti suggested that clear superiority at the domestic level saps his interest in the club.

"Bayern will win the Bundesliga without even taking their hands out their pockets," Ancelotti told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I must confess that I cannot enjoy Bayern's games.

"There is simply too little real competition."

Hey, but seriously, who cares about Ancelotti when you have Pep?

Hey, but seriously, who cares about Ancelotti when you have Pep?

There is a question why he says that...

But there are fans:

Sampaoli also said that the only team he currently enjoys watching is Bayern Munich, which features Arturo Vidal.

"On the rest of teams I can rescue players and single out individual play, but as a team there is a difference between the current Bayern squad and all the rest," he said. "The rest of them play to pass the ball and Bayern pass to play."

Bürki's feck-up for the first goal is quite funny:

Dortmund 2-1 up now though, Ramos and Castro scored.

Castro with a phenomenal half. Two beautiful assists and one goal by himself. Someone takes his chances to impress tonight...

I like that quote. Wish we'd pass to play more.

That Bürki assist really was quality

Dortmund's goals were again very easy on the eye:

Looks like Tuchel got his lineup right - Castro and Ramos both had a hand in all three goals.

Gundogan with the 4:1 via penalty. So he is the third in line at pens. Interesting.

EDIT: And the fifth one. Castro again. Now it gets ugly.

Didn't he convert a penalty in the CL final? Pressure probably doesn't get much bigger than that, so it makes sense to use him.

Looks like this will be Castro's night.

Gspurning - Riether, Höwedes, Matip, Kolasinac - Caicara, Goretzka, Aogo, Meyer - di Santo, Huntelaar

Fährmann apparently out with an illness. Aogo as #6, Caicara in midfield, Meyer on the wing, di Santo and Huntelaar both playing in attack. Finally we see Heldt's handwriting

Chicharito with 2 goals. After his pretty bad start, his finishing seems to improve. That's 5 in his last 3 games. 2 goals in the CL last week, 1 goal in the league on the weekend.

Mkhitaryan to Piszczek, 6-1. Piszczek returns the favor; Mkhitaryan 7-1. FT.

So why do Bundesliga teams play so many starters in the cup? Just read Chicharito scored another 2. Great for the guy.

Not really. He's constantly missing sitters, even today. Against Stuttgart he converted from 2 yards out. In the CL he scored a penalty. The other shot he had in that game was alone in front of goal where he shot straight at the keeper, then converted the rebound into the empty net. Leverkusen is just creating so many chances for him. Aside from the Roma and Stuttgart match it really shows though that they don't have a reliable finisher anymore.

Given how low the chances are for any team outside Bayern to win the league, the Cup is the biggest shot to win a trophy. That and the the Cup has in general a high importance in Germany similar to the FA cup in the EPL.
