Bundesliga 2015/2016

Off to the little derby in Munich right now. I hope 1860 wins it but as long as its proper hateful atmosphere, lots if fights and a good game I'll be satisfied anyway.

if we (bayern II) win today we are in a very good position to finish first. Regensburg is in a crisis. They lost their last three games, partly because they are hit by various injuries (3 cbs are out + Lais). Winning today + winning our two games in hand would mean, that we are first. Sadly the game today isn´t televised.

Kicker is amazing. Nils Petersen sitting on 14 goals in 14 matches in the 2. Bundesliga, and according to their grades he´s tied for 27th best player in the league. :annoyed:

Berlin and Hoffenheim appear to be playing in a blizzard.

Holy shit. Beckenbauer just point blank admitted that he always signed documents without reading them, be it in connection to 2006 or back when he was Bayern president. He wouldn't because he didn't have to sign documents presented to him by people whom he trusted completely. Jesus Christ... the last proof, if needed, that Beckenbauer should stay far away from any job that requires brains.

No - it just shows that he was what most thought him to be. A representation figure who opened doors with his name and is able to communicate - but not a manager of any kind. The operative business was nothing he had to do with. He was president of Bayern 15 years and did not even have an office - and it run the same way there.

I wonder why anybody is surprised.

Bayern's home matches this season...

Line-Up for the match against Hertha:
Neuer - Benatia, Martinez, Lewandowski, Rafinha, Alonso, Boateng, Lahm (C), Vidal, Müller, Coman

bench: Ulreich - Kirchhoff, Rode, Badstuber, Weihrauch, Pantovic

Alaba, Robben, Costa, Ribery, Götze, Thiago, Bernat, Kimmich missing

Is that Javi or Lahm in midfield?

Who knows? Can be three in the back with Martinez, Boateng, Benatia. Or four in the back with Rafinha additionally. Could be that Martinez plays midfield, too - lately they play 3 central defenders against Bayern and then it is nice if Martinez occupies the box of the opponent, too as a target man. I can see Lahm being pretty offensive on the wing so that Müller can go more central.

I hope that there is an early goal. Else it will be a tough task breaking down the Berlin wall...

Coman likely to stay at Bayern, or back to Juve?

The way he's playing right now at 19 years old I'd say we'd be mad not to keep him. The clause is peanuts compared to what other clubs have to pay nowadays for players like him.

With everybody and their mother injured, today is his day to shine as the only player capable of consistently beating his man on the wing.

Was thinking that -- how much is the clause? Seems like he's just as talented as Martial, maybe a year behind in development? But considering what we paid for the latter....

Martinez playing CB and Boateng DM so far. Why?

7mil Euros for the 2 year loan and 21 million to buy him afterwards IIRC.

Boateng playing at RCM with a bit of a free role in attack, of course. As you do.

2-5-3 for Bayern, or something like that.

Martinez plays the pass that Alonso can't play to safe his life. Didn't look offside, either.

Müller with the 1:0. Already equalized his best scoring record for a Bundesliga season.

Martinez  . He seems to gain confidence with evey passing game. His passing was totally off at first after his return but he gets better and better.

Martinez showing the world why he is wasted as CB. What a performance!

Damn our wastefulness in front of goal. Snapped our 7 game streak of 4 or more goals at home.

Don't watch Bremen all that much, but what do people think of Vestergaard? Seems to be a good player.

He can do this

And we won our most important game of the season. 2-1 was rather unnecessarily close, we should have been four or five up by the time they got one back, but I'm really happy with the game overall.

@gofelx probably enjoyed football the last 8 days more than in a long, long time.

/edit: oh there he is :)

The whole season (so far) has been a lot better than previous ones. It started terribly with the "Rucksack gate" (I mean wtf ) and the DFB-Cup defeat but since then you can actually see a team having fun and playing football again. It's a shame that half of our players are injured at the moment but it's even more impressive that we got 6 points from the last two games, really didn't expect that.
But I'm still always looking down at the table, there is no way we can keep this up.

Is Subotic injured? Or just totally out of favour? Or has he already agreed to join Klopp in January?

Afaik he's out of favour.

So According to Tuchel's pre match interview Hummels and Weigl are being rested due to fitness concerns and Piszczek for Ginter is a tactical decision out of respect for Kostic.

Although we have a better team than Stuttgart, I expect us to struggle a lot in this game. It's the time of the Hinrunde where teams which started early in the season (in BVB's case: Two rounds of EL qualification) often begin to lose it a bit, and I expect us to be no different.
