Cnn stating due to the unusually high FBI presence in this case, they suspect this points to terrorism.....Ive also heard the SUV was rented by a San Bernardino County employee but not confirmed...apparently a holiday party of sorts was going on at the auditorium by the San Bernardino County Health Dept. During the chase one suspect was in the back of the SUV firing at officers. Ive also heard someone was seen running from the SUV and that person has apparently been apprehended although they do not know if he had anything to do with the situation...could of been just someone getting the hell out of the way of gunfire.
There is currently a raid going on at an apartment in Redlands, CA. CNN playing radio transmissions during chase...one officer says male dark skinned when describing one of the suspects.....one suspect was down outside vehicle, one down inside, one running on foot.

2 of the shooters have been killed. they caught the third one.
NBC is reporting this now. Another suspect is his brother. No name for the female yet.
Seems to be based on it being his house they raided.
It's not unusual for the feds to get pulled in during situations like this, they can marshal resources and manpower beyond what your average local/state law enforcement can marshall.

Just stating what CNN reported......its crazy...just realized I drive by that Inland center all the time for work and stay at a hotel right down the street...I have a co-worker down there now picking up our route...luckily he got there after this shooting took place.
shit they got robotics working on reported "bomb disposal" - this sounds unlike any revenge/workplace shooting. multiple gunmen and bombs?
It's not a disgruntled employee shooting, look at the suspects names.

I feel bad for relatives in situations like this. I remember the Boston bombers' uncle Ruslan being interviewed and he was livid at his nephews. He talked about how much he appreciated the opportunity America gave him and his anger at their actions. They're associated with actions they had nothing to do with, as other Muslims will be.

I'm on holiday in San Diego at the minute. Been out and about all day but fortunately didn't hear a peep about this until tonight.
First of all, horrible incident. I'm sure as more details come out, a clearer picture will be painted, but there's still families without loved ones for whatever poor excuse led to this.
Do people start to get an idea why some police forces are "militarized?" The gear and weaponry that some of these assholes use would wreak even more havoc.

The 2 dead were the only 2 shooters now apparently. Husband & wife and have a 6 month old son ffs.
I think this type of terrorist attack will become more and more common in America. The vast array of weapons you can easily get hold of means that the they have made a rod for their own back.
I am sure that gun control will be tightened in America after a few similar attacks take place.

You are aware the right wing media are pushing the fact that this was a gun free zone...etc etc.
It'll be more about...if only these people had guns to protect themselves....
Ignoring the fact of course, we are yet to see a gun holder to date stop a mass killing/terrorist act.
So he had time to go home and make a few dozen pipe bombs and other explosive devices before going back for his work colleagues. The cause of this most definitely is not a work place dispute.
Makes me remember an incident in India. A village was being frequented by armed rebels who were killing people for money and accusing them of being informers. Someone suggested that the youth in the village should be armed to protect themselves. Many were armed and all was fine for about 2 months or so. After that some of the so called village protectors went with guns to other villages and started looting.
So he went home told his wife to armour up, got hold of his handy supply of pipe bombs, kissed their baby goodnight and went to erase that annoying guy in accounts?
352 mass shootings (on average 4 or more killed) in America in 337 days this year. So I doubt it very much that a few more similar attacks will make any difference.
