he had been in touch with terrorists or those under a terror watch.

Sure more will come out. But a ball has been dropped here I think.

i just didn't want to be called a pantist. because if you wear camo pants in public and you are not in the military , you should be arrested. there i said it feck all of you.

I go in the bushes with 'em sometimes is all, plus my missus always complains about how much clothing I wear.

It's illegal for civilians to wear camoflage clothing in Barbados, based on your opinion I thought I'd ask.

bro , stop posting , it's getting worse. don't even want to know why you go in there with em. barbados , hey sounds good to me. they got the pant thing nailed down. but they probably let cnuts wear hawaiian shirts all over the place right? there is no where to go to escape it. feck it the terrorist win!

for Firearms purchases there should be a difference for obvious reasons. States have different laws.
Sorry I think I misunderstood the initial point.

You're saying that for example CA residents shouldn't be able to buy firearms in NV? Then yes, at the very very least that should be true.

Yep, exactly. I seem to recall that the Virginia Tech shooter was able to circumvent restrictions on himself by traveling to the next state over to buy guns.

It's kind of surprising that that's not already a part of the background checks. I mean, like @Red Dreams said, States have different laws so why would they allow purchases in different jurisdictions?!

 it's fun! Yeah, I saw a few for sale down there but not many on residents or tourists thankfully.

No idea, as we all know it's a mess and the lack of any regulation at the federal level makes things that much worse.

can you still buy a gun at a gun show without background checks?

No idea, I live in Canada. We get licenced, which takes about three months and then can buy most guns as we please. Handguns and ARs take about a day to clear but I could go to the BassPro shop and walk out with a shotgun or hunting rifle in minutes. That's retailers anyway, private sales tend to take longer at least for handguns and such.

 My best friend was heavily into competitive shooting and when he stopped he put his reloading equipment & supplies up for sale and I bought it from him for $1k.

So that's where most of it came from and about 95% of my ammo is "unrolled" component parts (primers, powder, cases & bullets in various calibres). That said, my initial inventory suggested I could make about 14k rounds if I was so inclined. It is definitely excessive but it'll last for years and the price was too good to pass up.
I would definitely be labeled a terrorist if we're going by how much components we have on hand. There's a ridiculous amount of ammo loaded but I don't even want to think how many I could make right now. So much easier and cheaper to do in big batches though and I won't need to load pistol rounds for years.

In some states private sales don't require background checks. Most people selling guns at gun shows are licensed and do have to do a background check on anybody buying guns. The 'gunshow loophole' has nothing to do with the gunshow itself, it's because people bring their own guns and sell them outside to people going in and out. No different than putting an ad in the paper and selling a gun privately that way. I've not been to many gunshows but I've never seen someone selling one like this. Also, states are starting more and more to require a background check on private sales but it would come down to state law because the feds don't require it.

Federal law does prohibit buying handguns in a state that you are not a resident of. Some states allow long guns to be bought in other places but nowhere allows pistols. A person can buy a pistol out of his/her state but it must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Dealer in the state of residence and a background check done in the state of residence before they can take possession.

expert on tv saying this was a side attack , that the plans were for a bigger strike. too much shit put together for this terrorist attack. they were moving on to a bigger terrorist attack. rental car expired today. this was going to be a one way trip only with a stop over to kill a few more. i'm thinking two terrorist , pipe bombs rental car more dead some place else only they got side tracked. 4 guns all legally bought but none in his name? got them from someone else. the FBI will know more about motive. (they already do they have to say "looking for a motive" to be PC).

bombs had trigger switch not just a timer. this is looking more like they fecked up a bigger planned attack. so if they were getting orders from outside the US those "planners" are pissed off.

where'd those numbers come from , very shocking. although gun sales spiked due to fear tactics used by the NRA.

did a quick look - there is a massive spike in gun sales in from 2008-2015. hmm!!!!

To me this shows a steady progression of worsening economic conditions in low skilled sectors resulting in violent outbursts with the most destructive means available. Can we blame NAFTA?

I am sure economic conditions play a part but I would say that it is becoming a culture as well. Obviously you have Islamic extremism but also the spread of this 'revenge of the betas' mentality that seems to be a motivation for some of the killings. I blame the internet, the spread of extremist propaganda, not just Islamic, but there are forums where the disaffected congregate and hold a guy like Elliot Rogers as some sort of heroic example of how they can rise up against a society they believe rejects them. Before the internet existed finding the kind of platforms where those types of views could be shared, reinforced and encouraged. I would imagine they were hard to come by.

The Federal Assault Weapons Ban expired in 2004. It was not renewed. Don't tell me Chenney did not tell you this.

That's not the reason and they should study why this last 7 years the mass shootings numbers went up, I'm pointing my finger to the media.

Did you study weapons sales greatly increasing after Obama got elected due to Yes Right wing media fear mongering?

And the NRA reversed their stance of background checks they supported in 1999. Now they do not want even the very checks they at a time supported.

Thats why we have more crazies with guns.
