We are so bad I just laugh now.Even the ones who were performing at the start of the season have gone to shit now. We look like a fecking train wreck.
De Gea: Don't look at me. I am also allowed to make mistakes.
Varela: Never said defending or positioning was my strong suite. I thought I was going to be sold last summer.
McNair: Your RB for the next 10 years. LOL.
Blind: Not my fault. Mike wasn't there to do my defending.
CBJ: Dude, where's my car!
Carrick: It has been 10 years. Can I get a consistent midfield partner. Please!
Fellaini: I am better than my usual shit and still get subbed? What is going on here?
Lingard: I try..
Mata: I am quarter the player some people think I am.
Depay: I am sexy and I know it..
Martial: I am 20, not going to be your savior every game. Get real.
Subs:
Pereira: Don't look at me. I was better than most of them.
Powell: Did I win the fecking lottery?
Jones: I survived 5 mins without getting injured. Hell Yeah!
Van Gaal: Be grateful we didn't lose by 5 goals. It's a process. This ain't 2006..
He should go too. He's not faultless for this.If you are Ed Woodward, you have to be seriously thinking of going after Pep Guardiola at this stage.
LVG is not here for the longterm anyways. We cannot afford to miss out on a top class Manager again! We simply cannot afford to do so. It was painful enough watching klopp turn us down only to go to the dippers a year later.
If Pep is available then we must go and get him. LVG is coming up to 2 years in his tenure as manager of the club and we look no closer to winning a trophy since SAF retired.
We haven't got the players. Most of the first team is in the treatment room. It was a patched up side. No wonder we looked disjointed and toothless. Yes, the squad should have been managed better, and yes, we should have been more astute in the transfer market, but did you really expect a team comprised of untried kids and second-choice seniors to really play like a cohesive unit? I didn't. Nevertheless, it was evident that some of them weren't giving their all. Mata's a shadow of himself; Martial made little effort to influence things, and Carrick pretty much gave up in the second half. Putting Powell on ahead of Young was bizarre and the Jones sub was fecking mind-boggling.

Vandal Savage is a DC comics character. I thought you were possessed.
But we all know moyes is shit. He delivered what he showed before, midtable results
Lvf was supposedly world class manager with balls of steels. We've been duped
My original comment was a bit over the tot but after reading all that I'm even more embarrassed simply for the fact this is Bouremouth, an average side who run around a lot. We were of course a shambles under Moyes and defeats at home to Newcastle/WBA were disappointing and though the defeats vs City/Liverpool hurt, they were the best two teams in the league that year. This time round, with a shit load more money spent we are horrendous under a bloke who apparently knows what he is doing.
I don't agree really. Thought some showed good passion. Pereira, as poor as his touch looked tonight, looks passionate. Varela too.
Depay winds me up a bit, doesn't seem to care much, hard not to be frustrated by him
Moyes is why we are here. His appointment was insane.
If the players aren't playing for him that suggests, as I said earlier, that this is not something he can turn around. If its true they are not giving their all, because they dislike Van Gaal's 'process' and his 'philosophy' then no matter how much time he has he will fail.
That poor side have played Everton, Chelsea and us in their last 3 games and got 7 points. They've also only scored 1 fewer goals than us in the PL.
Fact is that no matter what club you are, you will struggle to win any away game this year. It's just the nature of the PL at the moment.
5-6 of the players on the pitch were from the u21s, so I don't know if we can read in to their reactions and say he lost the dressing room. They were a bit of a mish mash bunch that didn't have a game plan in the second half, looked disorganised, but surely that is to be expected when mata carrick and blind are the only experienced players, and I think we all agree that blind at CB is a bit of a liability even then, although don't mind when we have 3 other strong players in there with himI have calmed down a bit and actually agree with you. But that commitment as a team just wasn't there. It was so heartbreaking seeing the other team take it to us and step on our throats the second half. LVG seems to have lost the dressing room.
You'll get no argument from me, but even so, that means we're in a decent position in the league in spite of Van Gaal. All these injuries haven't helped him but it's starting to look like some of them -Rooney's for example, might not be as serious as is being made out.
what did LvG say in his post match presser ?
We are in a decent position, which is why we should sack him. If Van Gaal goes, and the new manager gives the lads a shot in the arm, we might yet win something this year.

Yes, but who? Van Gaal was always short-term. If the club is serious about Guardiola, they need to stick with Van Gaal until 2016 then get Pep in but if they do, they'll need to clear the decks first. Pep won't want Giggs hanging around leaking shit to the press through his mates. We're in a pickle all right but the season is far from done. Let's see what we do when the injury list is clear.

I don't know what to think anymore is it the manager is it the injuries or is it the players???

This is why I think they may bite teh bullet and get rid of him and put Giggs in.
certainly, still doesn't make you yearn for the defensive game, but there has to be a better balance than this !We've got away with Blind at centre back when there's been a colossus in height and form in Smalling there, combined with better fullbacks, better centre mids, and a more negative defensive approach.
Today, without most of those factors it was a horror show
We should merge this whole forum with the LVG Out thread.Should we just merge this with the Van Gaal out thread?
Our front 6 was fine on paper.. The defence was the part that was worst hit by injuries.
We lost the game because we looked toothless. Injuries are not the excuse.
The front 6
Martial = ~36m+
Mata = ~37m
Memphis = ~25m
Fellaini = 27m
Carrick = 16m
Lingard
And we looked absolutely awful going forward.
Let's stay positive guys, I mean, we probably should have lost by more!
That was the price on the day. An honest price on todays market would be somewhere in the region of:
The front 6
Martial = 30m+
Mata = ~20m
Memphis = ~24m
Fellaini = 8m
Carrick = 1,6m
Lingard 7m
A total of 90 m compared to estimated 141m. A price reduction of 36%!!!
Absolutely, if nothing else we're good at getting better results than our performances deserve!if their goon striker hadn't tried to absolute obliterate the net rather than just simply tap it the 6yards, could easily have been 3 or 4.
That would be insane. Giggs couldn't manage a second-hand book stall never mind a football club. It seems to me as though people are working against Van Gaal. Yes, he's pig-headed and yes, he's a martinet but isn't that why we hired him? He's half-way through his contract. We've had a crap few weeks but the season's only half over with much to play for. Writing it all off in favour of an untried manager wouldn't make any sense but not much at United does any more.
