Premier League Week 25 - 6th-7th Febuary

Careful, you're going to piss off @BobbyManc

This is my biggest gripe when people criticise Toure, he's become a victim of his own success. Once he established himself as a dominant, goal-scoring midfielder people assume apart from when he scores or assists then he is underperforming and simply "trudging around". He is still a CM for us and his key attribute to the side has never been his goalscoring, that's always just being a substantial bonus to his role. When he is absent City suffer considerably, nobody else can do his job in the team. He gets called lazy for example in the Arsenal game but the stats showed only one player covered more ground than him, that's because he is always positioning himself for the ball and trying to get the attacking players into the game. That's his main purpose in the side and he generally does that to a high-standard in a quiet, efficient and unappreciated manner game after game. Yes, he has dipped since the 2013/14 season but only as you'd expect someone of his physicality to decline as they age, I still would not swap him for any other CM in the league (excluding age as a factor).

He's a world class passer of the ball that chases down every ball and dominates every midfield, you know.

Okasaki reminds me of Park - not amazing but starting for his workrate.

Perhaps, not because of Leicester City. It's Tottenham that worries me. There's nothing fluky about their wins this season and until Stoke we've barely ground out the points that we've won. I'm still confident we'll dig out the fourth spot, barely, but we've got to approach out matches with the intent to win rather than playing not to lose.

If we play like we did the last two matches, we can win every match. I wonder if the new 'freedom' is because the players know the git will be gone...with Jose coming in the summer.

Watching Leicester and their style/approach makes me even more pissed off at Van Gaal. Ranieri has them playing 10x better than us.

The pressure is waay more at United. Understandable

From the BBC:

"One punter has placed a 50p bet on Robert Huth scoring two goals at 150-1."

Can't wait to see the reactions at the final whistle. I'm just drinking this in with a constant smile on my face.

Does Otamendi ever not slide for anything?

Otamendi's wife: Here are your car keys, honey.

*Otamendi flies in with a sliding tackle, wiping his wife out and getting the keys off her in the process*

This result will change quite a bit for Leicester I think. All of a sudden being favourites to win the title and everyone expecting them to go and win every game to keep it up. Hopefully they keep it up

Albrighton deserves massive credit too. Not the best player by any stretch but knows his role in this team and carries it out to a tee. They all do, just a sensational team.
