Yaya cries again.

Thought he had an excellent game today and put in a shift for the team. His decision to celebrate instead of running to Caballero was not the best decision (although I don't think Caballero was wagging his finger at that on second viewing) but I suppose it was just pure emotion at scoring the penalty.
He was by far the best player on the pitch. Always steps it up in finals whatever people say about him.

Only Yaya Toure could score the winning penalty in front of his own supporters and then proceed to run in the opposite direction of those supporters and fail to acknowledge his keeper who made three saves in the shootout.

This. What a weirdo. That celebratory picture in the dressing room could only happen to Yaya. What a man child.

I suppose he won't find many better opportunities to put himself back in the shop window, meaning a display of discontent after leading his team to a cup victory is a pretty good request for owners with too much money to come and get him. He's an inspiration to a new generation of pissy blues.

Disappointing from Yaya, whom I have been a fan of for years now but perhaps he immaturely sees the writing on the wall that his departure is a foregone conclusion with Pep's arrival. Nevertheless, this remains a team sport for everyone not named Cristiano Ronaldo

 best thing about the final was yaya running off to celebrate as the star with the whole team celebrating with Caballero.

Another week another non - story.
Iheanacho solo celebrations one week and now this pile of poo.
Yaya may well go, maybe he'll stay. Everyone just jumps on the bandwagon with no real clue.

I think it was fine personally... Yaya scored the winning penalty and has every right to celebrate however he wants. Didn't see anything wrong with it at all...

Don't think Caballero was gesturing towards Yaya either, just think he was gesturing in general.

Think he is gesturing to Yaya that he shouldn't take his shirt off because it isn't over. Then he looks at the players running towards him and realises that it is in fact over.

This is a football forum, and now we're laughing at Yaya, don't you come here and ruin the fun by making sense!
Damn østlendings! ;)

He's a self-centered prick isn't he? How long before his agent kicks up a fuss about the players for celebrating with the goalie rather than with Yaya GOAT Toure?

That's exactly what I said yesterday, I was roaring laughing when he ran off twirling his top over his head thinking to himself ''I'm the greatest!'' and everyone ran to the keeper instead

Watching the CityTv video in the dressing room Toure is injured and partly explains why he wasn't getting so involved in the celebrations, and he eventually limps his way over to get involved in a team photo. I'd read far more into his performance on the pitch and emotion after the penalty than a couple of photographs in the dressing room.

I was just yards away from the last part of the half lap of honour. All I remember was a very happy Yaya celebrating with his Ivorian mates (Kolo and Bony).
He seems to be in a bit of a clique with the other African and Muslim players but no problem with that.
There's also a photo of him and Noel Gallagher together in the dressing room after the match and he looks fine there.
Complete non story IMO.

it's nothing to worry about, we're just joking
