Lost all confidence in LVG many months and surely it's his last chance tonight. Hoping he sets the team up to go for the win, there's nothing to lose at all.

Unfortunately that's what he thinks he does every game.

So? They'll clash whatever, should have put us on at 6 to avoid that. And it's not even English clubs, so why are the FA bending over?
People in work, rush hour, stewards unable to travel for then etc. Time was chosen to cause minimum amount of clash I think.

No shit punditry on my TV with 6 minutes to go until kick off, despite being on the right channel, is very disconcerting.

Louis van Gaal: "West Ham are a very physical side - that's why I have chosen Fellaini and Herrera."

At the very least, the players have to match the energy and effort of West Ham. If we can control the tempo, which shouldn't be too difficult, we'll take the crowd out of the match. Payet will be their talisman with Lanzini being a threat and Noble throwing himself everywhere and moving West Ham forward.

There should be a lot of zest from United tonight via Tank-FM, Afroman, Herrera, Lingard, Rashford, Martial and Smalling. Lingard is going to have a great duel against Cresswell tonight, who has been very good for West Ham this season. I feel that Kouyate can be a liability for West Ham if he's properly tested.

Hope no one posts scores from Palace-Everton. That game will be my guilty pleasure later on in the evening.

Weird how the BBC program begins exactly at kick-off.

As for the team, glad to see Fosu-Mensah is fit to start. Not very happy to see Fellaini in for Schneiderlain. That midfield looks very slow.

They had red button pre-match coverage. Was only around 15 mins long though.
