We still have a good chance of getting top four. Why wouldn't you be fussed?

Because a) I don't believe we'll beat both Norwich and West Ham away, and b) I've got to the point where I'm just resigned to feeling like "we'll get what we deserve" kinda thing. I want us to win, and I hope we do win, but I won't be bothered/angry/upset if we lose... because we'll have gotten what we deserve. I just don't have that much apathy left for LVG's United (I was barely annoyed when we lost to Spurs) and any apathy I do have is being specially reserved for the FA Cup Final.

All the love for their title win, but don't want them getting it with us and "we won the football league at OT" being a Leicester song.

They are not winning at Old Trafford end of story. I know he is suspended but I am not having that tool Vardy looking at smug.

We'll beat 'em. And LVG will harp on about how he is a great manager beating the champions elect, and how he could've won the league rather than Leicester if he had better players.

Just can't accept the idea of them winning the fecking league at O.T. Hope we won't let that happen.

'Let's hope Manchester do us a favour'

    - Harry Kane

With Vardy suspended that is quite a bit of their counter attacking threat gone but it will be hard to break them down. I don't see many goals in this game.
However a draw will do us no good so I don't think it will be a 0-0 game.

Hopefully we can create the chances to win it as we seem to be creating quite a few chances since we switched to the 4-3-3/4-1-4-1 formation.

If we don't beat Leicester then the City - Arsenal game will be irrelevant so we have to beat Leicester on Sunday.

City are away to Southampton this week so who knows, they could drop points against them. However, we just have to beat Leicester otherwise everything else becomes redundant.

I think a 1-1 draw. They're still a dangerous team that plays fast, pressing football. If we dilly dally around with slow passing and movement like usual we're playing right into their hands and I don't see us making it into their box let alone getting a goal. Still, I'm giving us the benefit of the doubt and using the Marial and Super Dave factors to guess at a 1-1 result. Wouldn't be surprised if we did win and I still want us to despite wanting Leicester to win the title, but just can't see us being the better team. Besides, Leicester will beat Everton next weekend and win the title then anyway.

I'd really hate for us to drop points in this game. Not only do we need the win to give us any chance of a top 4 finish, but Leicester winning the league at our place would feel wrong.

Besides, I'm sure they'll want to make it official with their poster boy Vardy on the pitch, in front of their own fans :smirk:

We will beat them. Their run can't go on forever. The title is theirs anyway. We are on a good run and we need this more than they do. I would be surprised if we lost on Sunday.

Wont be many goals, Vardy is defiantly a huge miss for Leicester considering he was the spear head on there counter-attack which is less threatening without him. But no way cant deny that they're a unit so its gonna be tough game but hopefully United can clinch the win. 1-0 Rooney to score.

Was slyly confident we might win this until I watched Leicester batter Swansea the other day.

I was expecting to watch a team running out of steam and under pressure struggling without their talismanic striker and, although Swansea are garbage, I didn't see anything of the sort.

That said, our goals against record this season at Old Trafford is fantastic. I expect a 0-0 or perhaps 1-0 Leiciester because of our terrible habit for getting hit on the counter.

You could argue the fantastic win against Everton should give us confidence but we always seem to play terribly after a decent game.

Fair enough. We'll have to disagree on that one then. My problem is, people often talk about not being bothered because Van Gaal in charged, but to me, that shouldn't jeopardise your support for the team because of the manager. I mean, he might not even be here for that much longer, whereas, we'll always be Man United fans, therefore, we should always want the best for our club, and that starts with winning against Leicester on Sunday, thus giving us a better chance of CL football.

Confident we won't lose but don't think we'll win either. 0-0 or 1-1.

We're up against the best team in the league.
Where are people getting this (over) confidence that we will win?
Some people are predicting that we will score 3 or 4 goals and others are predicting an easy win :wenger:

They are the best team in the league, with the best form of the league.
    Their last game: 4-0.

Winning the title at Old Trafford was a trademark of this club, now we may witness team like Leicester City coming here for celebration party even without their main striker.

We're gonna find out if that point gap is work of pure coincidence but at least we could expect some diginity in our performance and win it typically 1:0 but that surely won't be easy against team that's just buzzing with enthusiasm and much needed aggression to seal it and take it home.

Most of the 3 or 4 goals are just wishful thinking or trolling for fun.
Having said that we are the top home team after 17 matches. So it has been that kind of season where our position has been screwed mostly by terrible away form (10th or 11th in league)

only result I see happening in this game is a draw, I can't see you beating us, though I think we could nick it.
Shame about Vardy's ban but we're far from a 1 man team even if Sky were keen to suggest it for advertising purposes.

currently DDG and Kasper are tied for the golden glove with 15 clean sheets a piece

The United that played against Everton will get the full points at OT.

It won't be easy but we can beat them. We controlled the second half in the reverse fixture at the King Power stadium and settled for 1-1. I can see us winning a tight up 1-0. LVG faltered against Arsenal and Spurs away but we've been good against the other big teams.

Do you know what apathy means?

Honestly, the perfect encapsulation for what a piece of shit our management structure and succession plan has been, would be Leicester winning the title right under our noses. I wouldn't begrudge them that at all. They've earned it, and we've earned having our faces rubbed in it. Fourth is a pipe dream, and honestly, securing it might do more harm than good if it leads towards any sort of sense of vindication for past decision making. This club needs a huge fecking wake up call, and if that means having a small club parade a title win in our own back yard, and having to deal with Jamie Vardy looking smug in front of the Stretford end; then so the feck what?

Stopping them parading around Old Trafford celebrating a title win should be motivation enough. That used to be our job after all.

I think we will beat them. Their back 4 has done an excellent job and Huth and Morgan have had superb seasons but one thing those 2 dont handle well is strikers who run at them with the ball at their feet. Both Rashford and Martial do that well.

I'm glad that Leicester are the ones winning the title, but I was kinda hoping that they celebrate at Chelsea in the final week and that Chelsea would give them the guard of honor.

Would be horrible for Vardy to take the RVN record along side them winning the title at OT.

Really would be a good slap in the face for those running United though.

Hoping we can unleash Martial and Rashford. Lingard has done great as well, until it's time to shoot. Pretty confident we can win.
