Liecester are due a defeat and we will hand them one on sunday. A hard fought 1-0 is good enough against Champions-elect. We have to keep pressure on City & Arsenal before they meet next week

Don't care about the title but, absolutely can't have them winning the title on our patch. Not that I think it will happen and actually confident that we'll beat them easily.

If LVG is smart, he'll look to hit them on the counter because I expect them the Leicester players to be desperate win it and will be trying to attack at every opportunity.

Desperate to win it? I think they'll be very cautious and will play on the counter. They did the same thing against United on their own home ground

you really need to stop believing the Spurs fanboys in the press that keep writing we only play 1 way

no, we don't we play whats infront of us, if you come at us we counter, you sit back we play more creatively, it's actually really simple
Hump it into the channels for Vardy to run onto, get into the box and go to ground. That's about it.

That's how you'll play on Sunday, defend deep and hump it into the channels for Ulloa.

They're very good at it though, reminds me of some of our best away European performances under the great man. Using Danny's pace to turn defenders down the flanks, Parky working like an animal covering every blade.

Credit where it's due, there was a lot of sh!t talkers on here going on about playing the right way and how monotonous, safety first, possession football was the way forward for us. Leicester have shut those people up.

    Pre-match presser from earlier (couldn't see a dedicated thread - move/remove if there's a problem).

"We are in a transition period" … still rolling out this old chestnut!

Only a short one, the video cuts off miraculously around his curt answer to "Louie, how involved are you in planning for next season"

Worth a look if only for the "there are no champions in this team except Memphis" comment!

Bit of a sad day when we're mithering abouth whether we can beat Leicester at home though. How are the mighty fallen.

It's more bizarre than anything else. They're champions elect and doesn't matter what season it is, we'd always be talking about whether we can beat the champions elect at Old Trafford.

Just so happens that this season it's Leicester.

No... You really do only play one way. As effective and simple as it is.. It's still only one way.
and I'm sure you've watched every second of every game we have played to make that judgement, you're believing the media spin that's all

Let's face it, arguments aside about Leicester's style - or lack thereof - it's better than Man City or Arsenal/Spurs winning it isn't it ? Leicester winning the title at OT on Sunday isn't a great prospect, but if it was Man City or even worse, Liverpool that would be truly horrific, to put it mildly...

Something existential about this game. Old Trafford, the home of the premier league, hosting the champions elect, a side that has never won a league in 130 years. This is especially good for the fans of English football, in England, who trudge from one game to the next paying out loads of cash in the hope of being entertained. Footy has become a rip off and the major teams have been guilty of complacency, especially our club that has served up tosh for three conscutive seasons and shovelled it down our throats. This will be a hard lesson especially if it means we are excluded from a CL place. The lesson won't last long but I hope Woodward and Co are suitably embarressed if Leicester receive the honours at OT. Good luck to them.

I'm sticking with my prediction of a win. Our defending is sound, though we're still vulnerable on set pieces. I have to think that, finally, we'll be prepared for set pieces. Martial and Rashford are in great form and are exceptionally quick.

1-0, perhaps 2-0 if Leicester go for it after the 80th minute and create gaps for us.

I think Leicester will win, they are a very, very good team. Sharp on the counter and excellent at putting crosses into the box. They are just 3 points away, think a late winner will clinch it, they really have performed well in the big games. Saying that, we need to win for top four, maybe it will all click for once, but I think it's more likely we will falter.

You're completely ignoring our home record. Currently Leicester have the best home record in the league but they've played one home game more than us. If we win we'll have the best home record.

You don't get to just stroll into OT and win, especially when it's to win the title. We'll be busting a gut to win the game as we still have a realistic chance of 4th.

There will be lot of pressure of expectation on the Leicester players in this game as the title is right in front of them now. That could get to them.

    I'm confident we'll beat them.

How do explain the fact that Leicester are in the relegation zone for possession? Does that not tell even you what their game is about?
What does it matter how much possession they have? They are on top of the league, if what their 'game is about' wins you league titles, what does it say about the rest of the league?

Now you're changing the discussion. It was about what type of football they play and the stats back up my assertion. It wasn't a criticism, it was a statement of fact. They've won the league essentially playing Route 1 football so good luck to them.

Crap, amazing that they are going to be relegated in the same season they win the title because they don't keep possession.

    Stop being silly.

You know damn fine the discussion was only about what type of football they play. The stats clearly back up my assertion. It's not a criticism, but a statement of fact.

I'm not at all, I'm calling you out that you're chatting brown trying to claim that they "hump the ball into the channels for Vardy to get in the box and go down". A load of absolute rubbish and nothing more.

Ok, you disagree. I think I'm right, you think I'm wrong.

Having watched a lot of Leicester this season, I know you're wrong, hence the chatting bollocks comment.
Leicester have won more penalties this season than anyone else - 11. Next best is 8. Combined with the possession stats, it clearly supports my assertion even further.

    De Gea
    Varela - Smalling - Blind - Rojo
    Mensah - Schneiderlin
    Rooney
    Memphis - Rashford - Martial

I would like to see us go with this. Mensah in midfield.

Personally I don't think it's a sad day at all. I think it's really great for football all around the world that you don't need huge ego's, money or top 'world class players' to win arguably the hardest league to win
