Both players are qu
icker and more skillful. So against a packed defense yeah, they could be better options.

Side is a lot more balanced than first game.
They won't drop Giroud because of his size and they like a big #9. Martial and Coman are better as actual wingers than Griezmann.
I'd have Pogba ahead of Matuidi though.
Both Pogba and Griezmann weren't that great in previous game. This lineup seems more balanced with Payet (who was probably their best player first game) in his favoured position from the off.
It's a good thing Payet is still playing and Martial starts then. heh.
Payet is in great form I'd give you that. But Griezmann is still their best attacker by some distance. Pogba is their best midfielder.

Payet actually does look quite like Anderson. Never noticed it before. 
I'm not sure it is. What formation do you think they're playing with this 11? 4-2-3-1? There's no number 10 in this lineup. Also, Pogba would fit in better in a midfield of 2 than Matuidi.
I don't agree that Martial and Coman both are better wingers than Griezmann, I don't think either is.
If Deschamps is insistent on keeping Giroud then it's a good move. Don't really see why Griezmann can't start in his place though.
France is the favourite and Albania will sit back. Griezman is great in a counter attacking set-up. When the opponent sits back Coman on the right would be the better choice for me.
Fair play to Deschamps. Has the bottle to drop the two faces of the tournament when they under performed meanwhile Hodgson will probably persist with Kane & Alli.
Deschamps is ruthless.

Even though Matuidi is box to box, he is still too defensive for a game like this and when you have a beast like Kante at CDM. Might as well play Pogba.

Would have gone with Jallet and Cabaye over Evra and Matuidi.

I applaud Deschamps. And that side looks more natural than trying to shoehorn in Pogba and Griezmann.

Still Evra even if he had a terrible match against Romania. Digne isn't very good at all.
Fair enough he didn't do much in the first game. But he's the sort of player who can win you the tournament. You don't drop Pogba for one poor game.
He could be their Zidane for the Euros.
