    Votes: 80 18.8%
  • Spoiled ballot

    Votes: 24 5.6%

  • Total voters
    425

The idea to give little Englanders who can't see past immigration and anyone non-white the opportunity to dictate our future and the economy really was fecking stupid.

Bored of all these northern shitholes voting for leave. I'm glad I never venture past Birmingham.

East Ayrshire declare: Remain: 33,891 (58.6%) & Leave: 23,942 (41.4%)

 Dear god. The pro-EU propaganda really has exceeded all expectations. It seems millions of people truly believe the United Kingdom is unable to function on the same playing field that every other developed country outside of the EU (from Japan to New Zealand to Switzerland) functions perfectly well on.

You really don't understand why Switzerland functions well do you.

Scotland turnout just is not good enough. @Cheesy 's observation about interest in the ref looking on the mark.

The next big urban area/city to declare will decide it. If remain doesn't get a considerable win in the next city then you can stick a fork in it.

Point I've been feeling for a while, after it became clear this became close - 'I should've done more'.

Partner has been messaging me tonight, saying she suddenly sees my point on that one.

Main point of this post is to brag about the fact I have a girlfriend, but still, I always struggle with this feeling that I haven't done enough.

Places in the north east were up by 10% or more. Looking more and more like you've got this.

If there isn't enough Leave support in London, the Remain majority there could undo these success in an instant. Even if Leave were to win it is going to be a fine margin, and with the Commons being vastly pro-EU this could moderate the deal made with Europe. Be it Cameron, Osborne, Boris or Gove, their policy making cannot outstrip the maths of the chamber.

How dare people who have been fecked over by the European-wide free movement of people vote in such a way that tries to better their circumstances. Just leave it to us middle class people who don't have to be concerned about stagnation in the lowest level of wages to make the decisions for them.

Thanks for posting the info @Red Defence, if possible can you post numbers too as % on their own doesn't mean that much

Switzerland is just one country....which is why I emphasised that EVERY other developed country outside the EU can be used as an example.

If London here isn't a lot over the expectations, this is cooked.

So right now out of all the regions in England only one has voted remain but all eight Scotland one's have.

it doesnt just seem to be that though..... what people are saying tonight is that the argument that if we leave it will ruin the economy just hasn't worked on people who on minimum hour contracts who can hardly make ends meat as they feel the economy is ruined anyway.

Turnout in London really now looking a lot under expectations.

I've deleted a few people from Facebook today for using some stupid Switzerland comparison picture

How intelligent and informed you must be. That one article you read in the Indie on why Britain can't be compared to Switzerland totally justifies your sneering attitude.

Congratulations on being right.

All the 'leave are doing better than expected' talk on the BBC - how much of that is better than the projected 52:48, or a modelled 50:50 vote?

Have you been to Switzerland? It really can't, tbh.
