Bluemoon have now deleted their Pogba thread. All 33k posts and started over again.
The thread has been re-set.....a traffic issue or do the Mods know it's going to explode?
Ha, no it's just that the old thread was too big and slowing the server down. We routinely prune the largest threads.
How smalltime is that? It was open for over 3 years and now it's time for the routine cleanup..
Most probably denying any interest. What's the stages?

It really doesn't do much good to apply logic when Real Madrid are involved in transfers but again I can'the see the sense in this one for them. That's not cause I'm bias and I'd prefer us to sign him (although that's true as well) but there are numerous factors why this doesn't look a great idea for Madrid:
- Where does he fit in their midfield? He will be an automatic starter because of his fee so presuming they play 433 to fit as much of their midfield talent as possible who does he replace out of Casemiro, Kroos and Modric? The obvious answer would be Casemiro since Pogba is individually a far superior player but there is no way he can or should be asked to play that destructor role. So that means he either replaces one of Kroos or Modric or they move Kroos into the more defensive role. I don't think Kroos can do that Xabi-Alonso-defensive screening-tempo-setting role cause his ability to make the team tick works further up the pitch and defensviely he's not as aware as his Spanish predecessor. So they either sell one of Kroos or Modric or play a midfield 3 of all of them which has an insane amount of talent but not the best balance.
- Galactico? The fee it will take to sign him means he'd be Madrid's summer poster boy, so much so that we've heard rumours they'll have to sell to raise the capital necessary to buy him. But does Perez view him as that shiny new toy he so desperately craves every summer? This is perhaps my weakest point since I'd point to the signing of Zidane and draw parallels but there are murmurs Perez isn't that keen.
So if you ask me I can sort of understand why there isn't the media frenzy surrounding Pogba to Madrid as maybe he isn't such a big deal to them. What counts against us is the fact Zidane is manager and apparently a big fan of his fellow countryman and the lack of any really Galactico's out there to sate Perez’s appetite. I think if Madrid do become interested then we'll have lost the race. Our hopes lie on the chance we're interested (I belive we are), Juve are interested in selling (again at the prices we'd offer I expect so) and Pogba would be happy to join us (probably dependent on the level of Madrid's interest).
It's going to be one hell of a bumpy ride, strap yourselves in muppets.
A quick glance at mattyb's posts finds 1) he said City were likely to get David Villa on loan last January, and 2) that Heaton would start vs San Marino (Hart did), 3) that we were in for Adebayor.
Hell of an ITK
Just going to leave this here, close to 33,000 posts on their pogba transfer forum thread. If he ends up at United, will be so sweet!

I don't know how any of you can stomach that forum. I went on it once and it's vile. The hatred and bitterness is spewing out of every orifice.Bluemoon have now deleted their Pogba thread. All 33k posts and started over again.

That'll be that then."Paul Pogba’s agent – Mino Raiola – will meet up with Madrid’s director general, José Ángel Sánchez in Monaco on Tuesday. [Sky Italia]"

You have just described half our forum as well. And fixed it for you at the end.Good. Serves the bitter bastards right for assuming that they were the only English club with a chance of signing him. The arrogance they have when it comes to players joining them over other clubs is just nauseating. That place will be full of people trying their absolute hardest to find weaknesses in Pogba's game, to convince themselves he wouldn't have been worth the money. GUARANTEE IT. And knowing those clowns they'll also try to prove Mkhitaryan is better

We will compete on the pitch. We got Mourinho. And if Pogba comes he can help us be that much more competitive.I really can't see this happening, good relationship with agent or not. The only consulation of him going to Madrid is that we will drive the price up for them to pay. This is not going to happen in my opinion, he's a quality player but we need to compete on the pitch more to get this type of player. Financial power only gets you so far.
That remains to be seen, we haven't been competitive since fergie left. I hope Jose is a success and will get us competing again but we haven't in the last few years. Offcourse Pogba would make us more competitive and so would Neymar, doesn't mean they will come here this summer. We will compete on the pitch. We got Mourinho. And if Pogba comes he can help us be that much more competitive.

Haven't seen that on any journalist articles.
Haven't read that anywhere? Link?
At 09:30 VanGaalEra posts a link to their Pogba thread, and points out it has 33,000 replies. And how embarrassing it would be for them if he ended up at United.

Manchester United have opened discussions with Juventus for Paul Pogba
Manchester United have opened discussions with Juventus over the possible transfer of French international and central midfielder Paul Pogba, according to today’s edition of L’Équipe.
Juventus have no intention of selling for anything less than €100m, but there seems to be some desire on the behalf of Mino Raiola to create a mini-monopoly at Manchester United this summer, and Pogba would be a crucial part of that.
The French newspaper claims that Mourinho’s plan is to play a 4-3-3 next season, with Pogba and Rooney in the centre of midfield, Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front, with Martial and Mkhitarian on either side.
It is also interestingly their understanding that Paul Pogba has always intended to return to Manchester United as part of his career plan.
However, the fact that the English side is currently not in the Champions League could affect Paul Pogba’s decision-making.
Ed Woodward is due to meet with Juventus next week for more discussions about a possible transfer and could even make the first offer for the player. Mourinho already wanted Pogba very badly last summer at Chelsea.
Am curious how Mourinho is going to play 2 players in the centre of a midfield 3.

KanteI guess there is a #6 to support them.
