If they thought £49 Mill for Sterling was good business then £100 Mill for Pogba has to be a bargain. :)

They just can't get over the fact that we, having vastly less funds & only offering EL football are ahead of them in the pecking order, even when they are offering huge pay cheques & CL.

We do, we actually have a budget we have to keep within. If you think uncle Malc and the rest of the garden gnomes in the Glazer family will caugh up as much as the Sheikh does then it is you that should give your head a wobble.

Another difference between Sheikonomics and us is that we actually have to attract and get real sponsors, not elaborate money funnels from the Sheikh into the club to be compliant with FFP.

I think that's what is bothering them and maybe Pogba fancies playing for MooMoo (as they call him) than the Guadiola. Pogba has a lot of love for United and like he said he is impatient and just wanted to play and prove a point. Maybe he fancies being the player to turn around our fortunes.

In a season they were heavily backed to win the title too. At least we're going through a transition, had a loony manager and still won the FA cup. City were supposed to be the real deal last season and had we gotten at least a draw vs West Ham, they'd have finished below us.

When the going gets tough Pogba disappears, unlike game winners like KDB (who is many levels above Pogba). I wouldn't be too worried, if he went to the rags. I think they won't come close to us and if Pogba does go to the rags, he'll be there for maybe a season, a similar case to di maria and would then be sold for considerably less while Mino gets to pocket some more agent fees.

Well, I for one don't expect us to sign Pogba. If it happens then good, if not then it's no big deal.
As for the post, it's to show how they've changed their tune on Pogba once he's been linked to us. Not to gloat because I think we've him in the bag!
