Have they entered a 5 a side team in an old codgers league? The core of their side will be fecked after 30 minutes...and the rest, (fatty shaw, mike smalling, Phil the face, meat pie, Valencia, Roe Hoe, Herrera, Schneiderlin) are just shite.

This has probably already been said, but I'll say it again anyway.

Can you imagine the media uproar if City signed a 35 year old foreigner from a joke league who has just had a dreadful Euros, and who plays in a very similar position to the new young English media darling thus likely depriving him of game time

But because its not City, its a 'clever signing' and 'great for the league'

They're trying so hard to be relevant but it's nearly sad that no-one really even notices them. Most people don't even know Manchester has a second club yet. :lol:

Yeah cause Toure, Kompany, Navas, Silva, Sagna, Clichy, Otamendi, Kolorov, Zabaleta, Nasri and possibly Nolito is a young core.

Whats up with the constant complaining about the media? I am not English so I don't understand. Are they saying that the media covers United and ignore city purposely or is it that the media only covers positve united stories and city only get covered in a negative way?

Jesus! they dont even try to make the nicknames funny, its just bitterness. That kind of anger is definately bad for the heart.

They print what sells papers. As there are 10 times more United fans it is logical that they print stories they want to read. Positive for us and slagging off them.

City fans use newspapers to keep themselves warm at night.

You're right, City have a group of players who are ageing and/or declining. About half of the names mentioned will be sold/loaned this summer and a couple more have one year left on contract so the matter's in hand.
 
Mentioning that core of our team is old is a beautiful irony when it comes from City fans.

Even better since most of our players are really young. And most of those old players won't be regular starters.

to time and go to bluemoon but it's nowhere near as entertaining as rawk.

It's honestly a bit sad how angry and bitter they are about us. Jealously and jaded envy are powerful things. The whole "rag blah blah manure" stuff all seems like the stuff you'd see from pre-teens. And even when I was 10 I knew better. Surely it's tiring being infuriated all the time?

Any of you bluemooners read this - grow the feck up. Start writing some poetry, start praising your players to abnormal levels, start enjoying unrealistic expectations for the season coming, please! It will make it a lot easier to like your Arab-fuelled shitfest of a club ;)

It's pretty much down to ignorance. The media writes plenty of bad things about United as well. In LVG's first season the fact United had the most expensive team in the league and were playing poorly was mentioned quite a good few times, last season when City had the most expensive team and playing poorly I don't think I even saw it mentioned once.

The media are out to sell papers/generate clicks, the bigger a club the more stories they will write, good or bad. The fact that fans of other clubs don't really like United plays into the media's hands as well.

I almost never venture onto Bluemoon precisely because there's less variation amongst posters than there is between shades of yellow on yellow cards. You think they'd be uplifted due to their recent years of success, but in fact they love most spouting resentment at being ignored, proving its true they prefered it when they lost all the time.
