I really dont get peoples faith in Schneiderlin, he is a better player than he was for us last season no doubt.....but at Southampton I just saw a big fish in a small pond, was never a signing I got excited about or expected much from at all, just looks a functional player to me that for a team like us should never be more than a squad player. We have had so many dissapointing midfielders the last few years that fans are clutching at straws almost it seems, he isnt anywhere near the class of central midfielder we have been accustomed to up until the last few years. I just dont get it, Mautildi age wise is a no fo rme, but people saying he is just energy, he has far better technique and ability than Schneiderlin
I cant think of a player I wanted less when we signed and couldnt want to leave more in my lifetime than Fellaini. I agree he gives us another option......one I would much rather not have and one that LVG relied on as his only other plan in games, it was painful to see our side resort to that.
Moyes for me will always be remembered for making the most anti Manchester United signing of all time. Sorry but Fellaini is a dirty player, all elbows, his only ability is in the air or holding the ball up. He has no football intelligence, little technique, poor passing and is clueless when running with the ball.
He works hard and is a passionate player, that I will commend him for but seriously get out of town has the words "Fellaini" and "great" ever been deserved in the same sentence in our shirt unless it ended with "lanky bag of shite"
