I thought he put in a good shift today defensively, he made a lot of interceptions. He clearly had instructions to do a specific job, and when he had the chance to attack he showed his skills.
None of the three of them seem to know Griezeman signing a five year deal with Athletico last month saying they will struggle to hold on to him now
23 year old Pogba had numerous league titles, trophies and champions league (including a final) appearances to his name and has been at the heart of midfield for those.
I'm pretty sure 23 year old Paul Scholes was just arriving back to the club from a loan spell at Preston North End.
While that puts their levels out of context somewhat, it makes a bit of a mockery of the "young Paul Scholes" comment. The same 23 Year old Paul Scholes in today's market wouldn't be anywhere near 100m.

Once again a solid performance from Pogba. Again he played as a defensive mid with responsibilities to protect his defense. In the second half he stepped up and his assist was world class.
If we buy him I looking forward to a great partnership with Schweini, maybe in the future with TFM.

I'm very much hoping that United are gullible enough to blow £100m on him (even better, 150+m including wages over five years). It would be the ultimate triumph of hype over reality.
Griezmann is one for next year though, this year he's not the urgent area needed strengthening.

Didn't do much spectacular (Bar the lovely bit of skill to leave Kimmich for dead) but when you're playing the holding role like he was and you're 1/2-0 up against Germany it showed discipline to stay back and play it safe. It was a silent domination from Pogba and I'd be happy as a pig in shit if we signed a player like him.
