Paul Pogba Interview With Football Focus (2013) - In English with a twang of mancunian dialect
Nah. Only if they pay at the minimum 150 million pounds which they won't. He'll be here to stay as long as we win and with Mourinho we'll compete every year. He'll go to Madrid in 3-5 years if he comes here, but feck it at least we seem to be getting him now.
Prices are maybe now double what they were when Bale was sold though.
Regardless of positions played, Bale had had far more impact on games than Pogba has shown.
"The only CM that scored more goals than Pogba right now is probably Yaya Toure" ?? Alli scored as many as Pogba last season (and scored more league goals), in fewer games, in a tougher league, whilst being only 19 years old for most of the season.
Can we please keep the thread about Pogba and the possible transfer and not GlastonSpurs and that awful forum? What are those guys at the Juventuz forum saying today?![]()
That is because he was shite. If Pogba turns out shite, I can guarantee you, Madrid won't be in for him.We aren't exactly notorious for selling our players at their true market value. Di Maria left for less than we bought him for with 4 years left in his contract.
Me neither. I guess Ronaldo's sale made people think we cannot hold on to a world-class player for more than 3-4 years.
He piped up yesterday for a bit of attention and now looks as if he's been told he's wrong and this is his get out.
In 24 hrs it's gone from Pogba personally ringing Zidane and don't count out Madrid to Pogba being United bound.
Well done Balague. Up there with no way Pep is joining Bayern ( announced the next day) and Alonso will not leave Madrid ( joins Bayern two days later)
Time for a vid? I think so.
This boy has some skills - if he continues on his trajectory we could well be looking at a future Best Player in the World
This one is great![]()
Sounds about right.
It seems that by paying Raiola, we are opening a new door where we've never been, and most major clubs don't want to go: pay an extra transfer fee to the agent to make sure it happens (somehow). That's a dangerous game but let's hope it gets done for Pogba and Juventus is "forced" to sell, given the amount, how many chairs Mino throws, etc...
Selling Ronaldo looked back but then again, we had 6 great years. I think what maybe hurt us more was selling them Becks. It ended up unsettling Ruud who we basically gave away to Madrid. Pogba is a chance of redemption in some respects - but we need to climb back to the top.
Didnt Yaya play as a #10 that year when he scored that many goals?Bale is a winger.
Pogba a CM.
Bale scoring 20 goals looks average compared to the numbers put up by Ronaldo and Neymare and Messi.
The only CM that scored more goals than Pogba right now is probably Yaya Toure, and that was Yaya at his prime.
As for taking games by the scruff of the neck. Bale played for a shit Tottenham team, whereas Pogba broke through at a pretty good Juventus team including CM players like Pirlo and Vidal.

Mainly box-to-box - a few direct free kicks and pens in there though. His shot to goals accuracy was also freakishly good that season.Didnt Yaya play as a #10 that year when he scored that many goals?
How is wanting a world class player desperate? Our fans have become so desperate now. It's sad site to see. Hopefully it doesn't happen.
He's a Liverpool fan, hense his bitter tweets. Is Ballbag a Madrid fan? Every fecking tweet I've read about Pogba mentions us as second choice, as if we're forcing him to join us. We're Out-Madriding Madrid... must be some bitter people around!
How is wanting a world class player desperate?
Are you talking about the price?, thats just football today bud.The conditions in which fans are willing to take him reeks of desperation.
Just because certain fans (I.e. Me) are happy to spend any amount on a player of his quality doesn't mean we are desperate. I just think he's the perfect fit for the team and would be one of the final peices of the puzzle in making us a title winning team. If that makes me desperate then I'll happily accept it.The conditions in which fans are willing to take him reeks of desperation.
Someone on Bluemoon seems to think that spending this much is a sign that we are in trouble...
Surely it is the opposite? This is what our CEO has been desperate for for the last 4 years. It's not a sign we are in trouble, it's a sign that we can now outmuscle the likes of Real Madrid in the transfer market.
Tell us what you don't like about Pogba Jaffy, is it the price, is that you don't rate him, what is it?.Blague is very well connected. Real and Barca are the clubs all players want to play for, we all know this. They really are the next step for Pogba but they aren't ready to line Juve's pockets, Raiola's pockets and Poga's. He will stay here for a few years and Raiola will start angling for his next move. I just don't think it's a good transfer on so many levels.
Ah now I see, you don't want Pogba so those that do are desperate.... Much more clear now I must sayBlague is very well connected. your theory is fine and has reason to it.... but what does it have to do with calling us that are happy that our pogba is coming back desperateBlague is very well connected. Time for a vid? I think so.
I don't it's impossible that he definitely want Madrid over United. The lure is much more to Madrid and it kinda makes sense. I like Pogba but I don't want us to spend big on another player whose heart isn't saying United.
You would think so but he isnt as reliable as you think he would be. The only major transfer he actually got right was Di Maria to United. He was the first to break that story.Blague is very well connected. Real and Barca are the clubs all players want to play for, we all know this.
