He has done it for two years Ibrahimovic has done it at a far higher level for 15 plus years. The premiership has been awful for the last three or four years forgetting our demise, the quality has been really poor. Cant argue with Kanes goals record the last two years but personally by the end of the decade I bet it falls way short of the likes of Shearer, Cole, Henry, Aguero and other top premiership strikers and Of course Ibrahimovic who we are comparing him too.

We earn £500m a year. If we decide to spend a small proportion of that on one player (having made some pretty shrewd acquisitions already) then it's no concern to your green eyed little face peering through the window.

Pogba is not and will never be a deep lying midfielder. Deschamps lost his mind playing him in such a role.
He needs to be in and around the box to be effective. He's as devastating as Toure and Lampard in their prime but if you'd ask those two to play the role Pogba played today(and a few other times during this euros) they'd have been just as bad.

It's not my money . But if we really want to spend 100m on a player from juventus then I will go for Dyabala.
For all those who were saying pogba was played out of position , a player who is valued at 100m should do adequately even at deep position. He couldn't even do the basics right . I'm more than sure he wont solve our mid filed problems. From what I have seen pogba can be easily nullified ( even at his best position). He is not exactly a playmaker too.
Throw 100m or even 150m at PSG for Verrati if we really wanted to make a statement signing.

I think most agree the price is ridiculous but when Juve hold all the cards with Pogba having a contract until 2019 and the fact his agent is due a huge cut you can understand why the price is high, but the player has been in the serie a team of the season two years running so is clearly a very good player. And it seems United are willing to pay over the odds to get the player.
I wonder what value Levy would put on Kane if United came sniffing? Someone who had an even worse tournament and has only proved himself a good player for two seasons compared to four from Pogba. Yes strikers are generally more expensive but I'm just wondering. I'm pretty sure he too would be over valued but I doubt you would admit it. Same question for Dele Ali who was gash at the euros and has played one season in top flight football.

Nothing to do with basics, in a deeper positions, the other midfielders need to be available and create the link. They did nothing (Sissoko tried hard but was clumsy). Pogba is a statement signing, play him up there, and support him with good DMs. Zidane in DM would not give anything, 100M or not.

Can you provide me with some objective evidence that this would be the case, other than just talking about how £100-£150m is a lot of money?
Not many people have picked up on this, but by producing Rashford and TFM, amongst others, in our own ranks or through the reserves, we've saved a bucket load of cash which we'd otherwise now be spending on a younger striker and defender. We've been itching to spend a world record sum on someone, and haven't actually been able to, for the past 2-3 summers.
I don't believe spending £100m on one player would do anything significant to our finances or limit future spending ability significantly. In fact, we could probably spend 100-150m net per summer from now for a good few years.

I think he meant in comparisson to how many he scored this year in the Spanish league, which was.. 59 in all comps.
