I'm not, I do realize it's very difficult for big clubs to not overpay but we still see some good players bought cheaper than that. At the end of the day, it's not my money and I feel safer with Mourinho at the helm. Just hope the squad won't left with holes like before. Pogba isn't a game changing talent like a goalscorer like Bale was in that amazing season for Spurs.

In terms of talent there are few as talented as him. Who would you rather have for less money? Can't be an unknown player, can it? Examples like Dele Alli and Weigl are rare.

You need to watch more of his games with Juventus. He's one of their highest earner, if not the highest (above Buffon who took a pay cut if my memory serves me well), and I don't see Juventus paying him that much if he doesn't deserve it. And stop with the tackling stuff, he's an offensive player.

He had a couple of very good seasons in the Premier league, no doubt. He was never genuinely world class, though. Silva was the one who controlled the pace of the game.

We can't afford to not buy players simply because it's inflated. It's because we did that, that we ended up watching Hazard and all put in excellent performances against us than for us.
The answer to all of the above questions is the same - it is "he could be". He has the attributes to become great at all of these things. Certainly right now, he is better suited in a Lampard type role which is where i would expect Jose would use him should we get him. However, physically he is capable of playing deeper and breaking up play. His passing ability is actually fantastic.
From a fan's perspective, you are getting someone who is supremely talented and can already perform on the big stage. From the club's perspective, you are getting someone who is young, knows the club, has bags of potential to improve.....and huge commercial potential. Sadly, that last part comes into it.

What's the point of contracts these days? It seems agents are negotiating the players next contract as soon as one is signed. Why aren't juve suing raiolas arse off. He's clearly in breach of any contract they have with Pogba. Why do clubs allow this to happen?
His vision and passing are probably better than people seem to give him credit for. He's definitely a very good player, when pressed. Most opponents can hardly get the ball off him, similar to Vieira. He's obviously not on Vieira's level yet, especially in terms of leadership, before someone misinterprets what I am trying to say.
He's one of Juventus' best players and they are one of the best teams around Europe. His goals and assists have contributed a lot to their dominance domestically. What you define as world class might not be what he is, but I don't think there are many midfielders better than him.
I get the sentiment and the fact that he was once ours doesn't make the fee any better, but at the end of the day, I didn't think someone like him would be available for us this summer. I wanted us to sign Xhaka and Tolisso, because I believed those were the most realistic and best targets we could get. But I don't think they could have the impact that Pogba could have for us.
At the moment nothing, maybe like you mentioned his physique is "world class" for a footballer without being exceptional tbh. Other than that, it's all about the potential.

Being one of the highest earners at Juve doesn't mean anything. That's not an argument. Rooney is the highest paid player at United.
