Fair enough. And I didn't mean to badger him. My opinion is I'm just sceptical of ITK's, and I don't know Acquire Me personally, so obviously why would I believe anything he says? I do find reading that kinda thing entertaining though, and have no problem with it.

My own logical view on the Pogba business it that we're more likely to get him than not get him. Then again, I was more convinced we'd get Thiago when that was kicking off, and a logical analysis of what we think we know means very little in this scenario!
 
Until there's actual proof that Acquire Me is lying, isn't best to go along with the old saying "innocent until proven guilty"? It's a bit unfair to gang up on him and call him a bullshitter when no one has any idea what he knows.

Its been like this from Mourinho to Pogba now. I have one source and he has been spot on. I chose to believe him and pass along what he says to me. If that gets me banned, thats quite sad tbf :annoyed: I do like this forum, but should probably never have shared anything :lol:

It's fair to doubt ITKs mate seeing as the internet is full of them.

Acquire Me seems an honest lad and has put his reputation on the line with this Pogba news.

Let's all just wait and see what unfolds, Pogba may be heading back home very soon!
 
We will hear more about this when he is due to report back to Juve. While he is on holiday we won't hear much. I just pray this thread isn't on about 1500 pages in late August - for the health of some people on here if not for our midfield issues.

I've also called all of those transfers before they happened, does that make me ITK? I give my opinion on them, like he and every one else on this forum and other social media have. Acquire Me tbf said his info on Mourinho and it was right. But it was because he or his boss had a meeting with Adidas representatives that one time. Where he claims that the Adidas representative divulged the info as it was a done deal and it somehow affected the link between the two companies (I can't remember the exact details tbh). That doesn't explain how he gets up to date info on the Pogba deal or any other deal for that matter. @Acquire Me, could you please clarify this for me as otherwise surely you're wumming and tricking many muppets?

Edit: I've read some of the newer posts and I'll stop questioning Acquire Me about it and just wait and see what happens like the rest of us. Apologies if I came across insulting.
 
Lads surely we should all get back to Pogba? Maybe a different thread for ITKs in the football forum or something?
 
Does anyone know when Pogba gets back to Turin? Because as soon as he gets back to Turin then the faster this transfer can happen.

You wouldn't get banned as the friendly ribbings would be too good to miss out on I would imagine. I'd probably turn off email alerts for when someone tags you if Pogba doesn't happen though.
 
Between all the ITK posts, the people asking the ITK for updates, and the people debating whether or not the ITK is actually legitimate.

Sure would be nice to read a few posts about the potential Pogba deal, or is this the wrong thread for that sort of stuff?
 
Actually if i remember Pogba gave an interview with Evra stating that they would be back in a week to Turin. I'm sure i saw it in an interview during the euros. That's when this transfer will pick up.

At the very minimum you would then have to add on a week because he isn't going to just rock up at Juve and say he is leaving after everything they have done for him and vice versa, there will at least be talks after he gets back from holiday, I would realistically say if anything is going to happen it will be in around three weeks to a month.
 
All of the business is done between Pogba's agent and the clubs though surely?

Pogba can be anywhere in the world as long as he's got a phone with him.

Are Juve going on any pre-season tours? I remember when the Vidal saga was going on, him getting on the plane to go on tour was seen as a turning point. Until he got rested or something for the 1st game!

I saw the same thing and I think they said an extra week away from vinovo (not sure on spelling but region of turin) meaning because they qualified for the final they would have another week at the tournament and another week off, I am sure players are obliged to have a certain amount of time off, they can't avoid it.

This saga is getting tedious and drawn out. We need to be careful to avoid putting all our eggs in basket, we've already missed out on several very good midfielders due to this pursuit of Pogba, Kante etc. are probably moving soon too, which would leave us with not many options.
 
I suggested a few pages back that Acquire Me should have his own thread if people really want to believe his shtick. Let him and his followers have their fun away from real journalistic sources and discussion. To me, it's a load of nonsense, but if it passes the time for some people, have at it in another thread. My $0.02

Agreed, but working out who the real journalistic sources is too difficult so it becomes a question of where do you draw the line.

I will never share anything else if this transfer should go to hell, thats for sure. This is not me backtracking, I stick to the info I got and believe its genuine as the info who came before.

Someone has asked why Adidas get this info, because I can see that it sounds strange. It really isn't that strange. Adidas has invested a lot in us and also some players. Even though they are happy with sales, United has been a disappointment in many regards. The guy I know has told me that Adidas are very much in the loop of whats going on. If its more now than before, I dont know. Imo, its agreed between the two parties that they keep each other in the loop. Thats purely guesswork from me and nothing I know for sure.
 
If this is solid information and he does want to come, he is ours/already is ours. Possibly staggering the news leaks before an official announcement in the coming week?

It's equally unfair on the rest of us who have to read his "Hope you guys are ready for some big news :smile:" shtick and have his followers pipe up with "What have you heard? Hope you have good news for us mate!"and this happens every other day it seems. The fact is that the burden of proof is on Acquire Me, and it always has been that way on this forum. He can easily PM a mod and explain himself if he wishes.

Not sure whether you agree or disagree with me tbh. I wouldn't have any of that shit in here. Keep a separate thread for BS and "funny" nonsense. Keep this thread for updates and some discussion. It's not a matter of life or death, just a bit irritating sifting through 10 pages every day to find the 1-2 decent posts.
